BMO is Canada's first bank, they're as stable as you can get, really, and have weathered far worse than this... but, yeah, stability as an intern isn't to important, I'd assumed full time.

1864 for RBC, 1817 for BMO (no idea what it's like to work in tech at either, though... a former classmate of mine works in tech at TD full time and has for quite some time, but, the people I know at BMO or RBC aren't in tech roles, they're managers, bankers, business development, mortgage specialists, etc.)

Just applied bc on the fence about masters. I'd recommend just get full time the pay is way better and you will get health benefits and stuff

Heres the thing

FDIC is smart and interested in the health of the banking sector

They don’t just do their bare minimum obligations

I would be very surprised if any depositors lose money

Cause then that shakes confidence in other smaller banks and can cause contagion

FDIC wants to fully make everyone whole to keep confidence up

So I think nobody gonna lose money

Might just be a pain until they get things sorted out

If it turns out to be true that they lose their deposits, there could be more bank runs: Lots of businesses keep uninsured deposits at lots of banks, and if the moral of SVB is “your uninsured transaction-banking deposits can vanish overnight” then those businesses will do a lot more credit analysis, move their money out of weaker banks, and put it at, like, JPMorgan. This could be self-fulfillingly bad for a lot of weaker banks. My assumption is that the FDIC, the Federal Reserve, and the banks who are looking at buying SVB all really don’t want that. If you are a bank looking at buying SVB, and you do a detailed analysis of its assets and conclude that they are worth $180 billion, and you come to the FDIC and say “I will take over this bank and pay the uninsured depositors 95 cents on the dollar,” the FDIC is going to look at you and say “don’t you mean 100 cents on the dollar,” and you are going to say “oh right yes of course, silly me, 100 cents on the dollar.”[9]

first off, my communication with recruiters at actalent was decent in the beginning it was for an embedded soft dev role, they have nice client line up and they liked my experience so they got me to do a IKM assessment and told me i needed 80% or higher to get client interest in me and so i did i got 82% and the questions were quite hard, nonetheless the recruiter i had told me some ford manager was interested in me and then told me shes going to vacation the next week (convo was had on a thursday) so she told me ill give you my colleagues info and thats the last of it. that recruiter never emailed me back and i kept pestering her to give me her colleagues details and they finally did send me the info during their alleged vacation and i contacted that colleague and that person was so hard to get on the phone or even on email, they called me 6 pm a few hours after they told me they'd call at 4 pm and when i initially missed it, they never called again and kept ghosting my emails and linkedin dms. So i personally don't reccomend lookign at the soln first unless ur already decent at lc

I found it better to attempt the question for some time and then look at the solution

So try for 20~30min, if you don't get it by then, look at the solution.

Don't just copy the soln verbatim tho

Try and understand the logic and reimplment the logic with your own language

where i couldnt do mediums

just start doing more mediums

you'll get the intuition on how to apply patterns/ds&a to more complex problems

if the solution does something u havent encountered (in any way, algo/implementation/idea wise whatever), then ur kinda shit out of luck

or u spend like 3+ hrs the hard way to figure it out yourself

often it's a tiny twist, but non-obvious
