I think it depends on what your goals are rn. If you can get through express entry with french, you will need to find a job + apartment once you get here, so factor in a few months expenditure for that (part time jobs can help with daily expenses). But if you go the masters route, you will need to pay intl tuition fees. Imo, you can give yourself a few months to learn french, try with express entry, if you get in come and start to look for a job. If you can't find one after a few months then enroll into masters.

I totally agree with this, that internship money saving is worth very little compared to the office experience, making connections that might land you a job in the future or even just standing out for a return offer

remote works best when everyone is remote but you’re kinda shooting yourself in the foot if you’re remote but most other interns are getting face to face interaction with fulltime members and their managers

Hello! I am working as a C# Win app developer for 2-3 years in Korea and planning to go to working holiday to Canada this year or next year. I looked up linkedin and Indeed to search about demand in C# Win app but there are not many.
I think I need to switch to a Web developer probably. I am interested in Data Science but don't have knowledge or experience in data field. I have a BS degree in computer science in US. So for me, I think switching to a web developer would be a higher possibility to get a job than switching to a data field job.
Which language do you recommend? I think .NET would be easier since I have worked with C# but I guess Java, Node.js or Python would be better for getting more job opportunities.
I would like to listen the opinion of software developers in Canada! Any opinion is welcome! 🙂

I would def recommend learning .Net if you're already comfortable with C#

Also wdym by web dev? Are you talking about front-end, back-end, or fullstack?

If you're talking about front-end or full-stack I'd def recommend learning JavaScript as well

Isn't .NET developer a backend developer? I agree to learn javascript framework like React or Vue is recommend with backend programming language to be a full-stack developer .
