Went to the movies for the first time in over a year to see the new Demon Slayer movie in one of the special theatres (bigger screen and better speakers, basically a IMAX clone), it was very good. Animation was top notch and the story was great.

IDK, people who liked the TV series before it would end up enjoying it more. I do agree that the pacing was kinda weird, but that's because it's straight from the manga, doesn't really 'fit' in a 2 hr runtime, in the same way it would over 26 episodes.

Maybe you aren't a fan of shonens, I'm not either, for the most part. They all follow similar beats. But Tanjiro as a main character has tons and tons of charm, and the plot is interesting enough to me. That along with the great animation and voice acting makes it stand out to me.
