Probably. I mean big techs have programs just for freshmen and sophomore, surely some of the ppl who get in dont have prev experience (though cant say I've met any of them yet).
It's all a bunch of luck sometimes and the best way to increase your chances without work experience is to go to networking events and career fairs to meet recruiters. Bc if they make a connection with you they might just boot you into the interview process.

CTCI is a good resource, it just fails because the questions are like all easies/easy meds IIRC. if u want to do more serious prep (and don't want to read a ds&a book), go through EPI IMO

so at the end of the day it all depends on factors outside of ur control. it's not a waste of time to do either tbh but just respect ur time
