So I have 2 questions here:

1. Should I keep doing internships or should I take less class per semester and try to improve my GPA, and get into good grad school (goal is stanford EE, because of the startup culture and network)? I think university name matters a lot for first time founder and Purdue is kinda no name in startup world.

2. Or the other question to ask is whether I should go to grad school? Or just enter the industry? I think the benefit of going to grad school is the creative environment and being able to understand the real world need before I start a company.

like if u try to evenly balance each semester its def possible (at most schools) to have a high GPA and still have a life outside of classes and do lots of cool non-academic stuffs

if i was talking to someone just entering college, id say

1. take a light schedule as possible - make a 4 year plan where things are relatively balanced but maybe do a lighter first year to make friendships
2. dont be lazy, use extra time to do things that are more important like career prep, leetcode, hackathons, club involvement, maybe TA/RA if u want, etc.
3. Still just try to keep gpa above 3.5 if u can
