There are quite a lot of pitfalls with parallel stl. Its super cool but you can do things wrong and loose a lot of performance
thankfully you can read libstc++ to find the bottlenecks but for Nvidia compilers (e.g. GPU offloading or OpenMP) you can just benchmark it like a blackbox and try to figure it out
