It’s just the paint on the black face gives such a good contrast for such a shot

Don’t think of me as racist or anything but I think animated black faces are much better at giving the shot a more mmmmhhhh look you get me?

Especially with contrasting face paint

For example the golden eyeshadow on Astra just gives it more depth and a more idk I can’t describe it it is just better

You can’t really do that with a white skincolor

Also look at avatar. The blue face works ten times more better with the face paint then if it was white

Or it just could be the animation style that gives a relatable yet very animated feeling

Like you look at it as if it was just a human person looking at you yet you feel the vibe of animation

It’s kinda like looking at tik toks of those anime wanna be girls that copy the movements of anime girls without the cringe feeling

This is the best I can describe the feeling it always gives me
