Oh wait I haven't checked twitter yet
Well fuck twitter refuses to load beyond March 2021
Oh I know that
I was just gonna make a post about it
Since im tired of people making breach homophobic or straight
Ik ik I wasn't directing it at you
Just like
There are probably going to be a lot of people who don't know better who will read this later
(maybe)
idk its just instinctive at this point

hellllllooooo so I was just wondering: tf is up with Sova's eye. Like, not the is it brown is it blue thing but ... the one that he lost, do we know how he lost it? do we know who made the new one? Cypher? KJ? do we have any info on this lol--and like also do we know what happened in "the rift" or whatever? ik thats a lot of questions but man . lore is confusing.
Currently, we don't know a whole lot about how Sova lost his eye. Brimstone has a line that Sova "already lost an eye for the team" seeming to imply that it happened during one of VALORANT's missions (though what exactly happened is unknown)
However, Cypher also has a line where he says "that's not really how you lost your eye" (or something to that effect) essentially implying that whatever story Sova feeds the team as a whole, or possibly even Brimstone as well, is a lie. Though I believe it's quite likely that it did still occur during something for VALORANT, but the actual event was different
As for what happened in the rift? We're not sure. Though Sova does have a line indicating that he's had an encounter with his double before (and that he spared his life) which is possibly related to the rift event/encounter
While there's no official confirmation on who then made the eye, if Deadlock is anything to go by, Killjoy is most likely responsible for creating a replacement
oooo interesting thanks!!
do we know what the rifts even are?
Yes, and no. The term "rift" gets used quite a bit un both cannon and fannon to mean a couple instances, but for cannon, it's not 100% clear if they're all related.
Generally, though, I'd say a rift is a tear in the dimensional fabric between worlds/spaces. Primarily based on Yoru's lore as a riftwalker. So far, all the rifts/tears we know of are caused by either radiants (like Yoru) or radianite (like the spike detonation on Ascent). Whether or not the circular rifts seen in something like Sova's playercard fall into the same category is unconfirmed, but most likely falls somewhere similar
As lone said, rift are used to refer to a lot of things, so its hard to pin down a specific definition or description
https://discord.com/channels/698265763491872768/1032053528824397906 this thread is a bit old, but its summarizes most of what we know about them
It's ~140 messages of backreading, if you're up to it
Oh man, I just realized I neglected the Interverse. Do cuts into the Interverse count as rifts? Isn't there distortion on Sunset? Though I guess that would still count as a cut between worlds so idk why not. (But wait, did we ever receive clarification on what the Interverse is, or has it all been speculative?)
All speculative
I-interverse? bro what is the interverse 😭
yumm backreading
we were never really given a solid definition for that the interverse is, so everything is really speculative because the radivore arc is messy asf
The Interverse is the dimension/world/something like that where the Radivores (the bear that attacked Deadlock and Gekko's crew) come from. The portal that was on Sunset that Wingman destroyed in the Sunset trailer was to the Interverse. Not a whole lot beyond that is known right now
just as a side note, the interverse might or might not be where radivores come from; unfortunately we don't have a clear cut definition for the interverse not do we have a confirmed point of origin for the radivores, but what we do know is that the interverse is a dimension that the radivores can create portals through. it seems like the texture of an interverse portal is not as harsh as a rift and could accommodate life passing through it better. There is a possibility that the interverse's existence is dependant on radivores, in the sense that it could be a side effect of radinite being processed organically by a radivore, but that is unconfirmed so take it with a grain of salt.
Right now there is one known human being that can also interact with the interverse without needing any specific equipment and that is Iso but the duration of his interaction with the interverse seems to be limited.
what is the connection between the octopus of the ancient mysteries and the parts of radianite it holds in this spray?
2 secodns
I was thinking the parts look like the new upside things of the loading screen
With Valorant Episode 1 Act 3 just around the corner, we once again check out the Battle Pass with all the new crazy skins together with Riot Developers Preeti and Sean to get an exclusive behind the scenes look into how it all came together. This new knife is insane!

We definitely like to have fun and come up with our own storytelling elements. So, in the first card, the octopus found a piece of Radianite. What did he do with it? He went to a rave. [...]
I’ve joked with people on reddit about lore around the tactianimals, and I’ve seen a thread where someone said that Omen is actually an octopus and that’s what we’re hinting at… I know the narrative team and some people more involved in lore hate seeing that stuff, but I like just tossing that in, as a reminder to be like “Hey, just have some fun every now and then”

asking this here but #lore-and-theories message this reminded me... do we know what was up with that plotline???? like why was chamber trying to get her caps removed? how did neon know? Do we know Chamber and Neon's history or is it only thru this
Neon was hired to power the portal and Chamber thinks they need to remove some of voltage caps to get greater power. Later Chamber apologizes about this though but Neon doesn't accept it.
Its not like they were trying to remove it in secret and even if they did that she could just feel it ksdkjksgjgf
Did she know that's why she was hired or was it that she was taken advantage of at the last minute?
She knew why she was hired
We dont know much about Neon's and Chamber's past misunderstanding but we know they both worked at Kingdom at some point
and Chamber mentions her family and dad several times
"Appeal to her sense of service, she gets that from her family. "
" I'm sure the suit's inventor was just being... overcautious."
Neon's dad Nathaniel Valdez designed her suppressor and he also designs radiant aid tech
Chamber and Neon's dad work on radianite tech and with Chamber mentioning her dad several times there is a possibility that the misunderstanding actually happened between Chamber and Neon's dad
I forgot to mention Nathaniel Valdez also works at Kingdom
Neon really seems to love her dad so I can see her getting mad over that but also
this is just a possibility
all we know for sure is that a misunderstanding happened
interesting
so neon already disliked chamber before joining the vp, and knew he was on it
yes
ohh okay yeah i was confused
so often im like ??? and the answer is just "yeah only the devs know"
is sova's owl supposed to be his drone? so Jett is saying his drone is cute? or does he have a separate owl? or is the drone in game simplified vs an actual robotic owl in lore
I mean its def not a simplified version of an actual owl
https://twitter.com/VALORANT/status/1482412388150386694
I think Jett is just talking about the drone
hm okay
Hi guys
@formal hawk has leveled up! (0 ➜ 1)
Quick question
Im very interested in the lore, and does it matter if i kinda learn everything not in order?
I learned it like that personally
I just focused on character and stuff that interested me the most and build it up from there
valorant lore is not like a school subject you should learn so I think your personal enjoyment comes first!
though I think knowing the basics of the lore would make it easier to understand ofc
I personally don't think there's any harm in learning lore out of order! It's found in quite a few places and can take time to sort through. I often just focus on what interests me.
If you'd like a rough timeline of events, we have one compiled on the Lore Wiki here: https://valorant-lore.fandom.com/wiki/Timeline_of_Events
It does help to first learn whatever interests you, but after sometime when something comes up that needs context to be understood, that’s when you should maybe start looking at the timeline and taking things from the beginning
Hey! So was caught up with all of the lore up until episode 6 but haven't been keeping up with it recently, can someone explain to me how hourglass can cover up radianite if it accounts for 1 (or two I've forgotten)/3rds of energy production?
Hourglass organization was trying to stop the discovery of radianite from being made public shortly after the first light which was before Kingdom had developed their radianite energy program. That program then grew and at the current point in the story accounts for 2/3 of world energy production.
So let's Imagine Kingdom developed their radianite energy program 4 years after first light happened. Hourglass was trying to stop the discovery of radianite from happening 2 years after first light for example.
The reason Kingdom has this extensive energy program is because Hourglass failed their objective
I see! Would that make their goals different now? Since I believe they have other goals beside it
I would say they definitely have multiple objectives to follow, for instance, they were trying to kill any major figure involved in the discovery and research of the interverse and the radivores. Our knowledge of them is very limited at this point, so we'll have to wait and see what we'll learn.
in the case of project landfall ( the interverse and the radivores) the VP and hourglass' objectives happened to overlapped, in the sense that the VP also came to the conclusion that this program needs to come to a halt. but the two organizations approach to similar problems are very very different. Hourglass uses ANY means to get to their goal and they seem much more cult like... While the VP seem more covert strategy based approach and wont take drastic action unless there is no other way.
However there is one point to consider and it is that it is probable the main nemesis for Hourglass is not really the VP but whoever it is that is backing the VP.
I see, agh I should really catch up with lore over the summer, I've been so preoccupied with my own agent
I have lore thread on twitter recapping the events after Iso's recruitment up to right before clove's recruitment, if you'd like to check it out:
https://twitter.com/Strawberry79/status/1763551400817000902
Oh thanks! That's super useful
Also ty for the lore wiki in general its been such a lifesaver 🙏
Hello does anyone have the source that said nightmare takes on the form of a cat bc fade likes cats?
does this mean fade can manipulate the shape of this entity?
I think she can manipulate it to some degree since she can use it to hold people down
Hello esteemed and most knowledgeable scribes
Would it be possible for someone to give me a summary of all the lore that's dropped over the last couple weeks? I wasn't able to focus on VALORANT for a bit there
Ik we got the new voicemails and email in 8.09, has there been anything new other than that?
There was also patch 8.10 that gave us the voicemail from Viper and Email from Iso. here's a recap: https://x.com/Strawberry79/status/1791781256033616007

Thank you!
hello, I would like to ask if we have any lore-like reasoning behind why Clove can smoke? for example, Omen hunts 'from the shadows', so his smoke ability makes sense, same with Astra and galactic nebula and Brim's satellite smokes. as far as translation goes, the agent description (website, ingame) doesn't seem to give reasoning. thank you!
in the description they have only been described as clouds, we don't know exactly what they are made of
thank you! i hope they expand on that, then.
i know for sure there's a page in the lore wiki (or val wiki) where it had a table of missions done by valorant. it showed the agents (it said if they were on field or comms) and a brief desc of the mission. im pulling my hair trying to find it again
I’m guessing https://kingdomarchives.com/comms
I was reading omen's wiki and it says "other agents like viper ... comment that the enemy Omen may be aware of truths kept hidden from their own." Does anyone have the source for this? And do we think this is just because Legion told their Omen more or because of a difference between the formation/brains of the omens?
That line specifically is referring to this voiceline from Viper when Omen is present in the enemy team:
"I wonder what's inside of their Omen. What truth is he keeping from ours?"
We don't know how exactly the two Omen's can be different based on a canon source but I speculate that each Omen might have had different memory fragments from his previous life and remember different sections of his past.
ooo thank you thats interesting
also--do we know if Reyna got her radiance with the first light? Like, since we've found out that radiants and radianite have existed for a long time and SoH have been erasing that history, is it possible she's been a radiant for longer? I feel like there was some evidence to suggest that she's lived a longer than normal lifespan but I can't remember if I'm making that up ....
You may be thinking about a voiceline that Phoenix has with her " Reyna how old are you? No shade you look great, but sometimes you say the strangest things."
We dont know exactly when Reyna had her radiance expressed yet
has anybody transcribed the notes here in abyss?
Yup, Zedd Spectrum theme
ohh thats sick! thanks!
Yeah, the same music is present in several places, in several maps
For example
https://youtube.com/watch?v=kbH3srwg2sw
thank you that's exactly it
also yk that one voiceline where Viper almost says Omen's name (and I think it changed at one point) why would she know his name if even Fade couldnt find it? Or is it implied that this line is just omen "hearing things"?
since Omen was an assassin for hourglass he probably went by many fake names
But why would viper have a slip of the tongue if she never knew him by those names? If she only ever knew him after he became torn apart, then wouldnt she know him much better as "omen" than "john" or "fred"?
Does anyone know for sure if anyone died in the venice incident? Was it implied in the push back against jett and phoenix?
No deaths were mentioned iirc
Canonically speaking, what is Clove’s smoke made of? Life energy? Bunch of butterflies?
in the ability description they have only been described as clouds, we don't know exactly what they are made of yet
What is the structure of Sage's name? Like what is her personal versus family name, because I know it can be different in other languages? (Like is Wei her "first" or "last" name) (and is "Ling" a middle name or part of her first/last)
Family name: Wei
Given name: Ling Ying
Note that neither “Ling” nor “Ying” alone refers to her, both of them has to be together to refer to Sage, though an exception can be made for “Ying” as it can be a short nickname for close friends. It can also be written as Lingying, if it helps you wrapping your mind around it.
Tldr;
Original: 魏玲瑩
Romanized: Wei Lingying
Anglicized: Ling Ying Wei
No matter the circumstance, Wei is always the family name
thank you so much!
Hi scribes! I got recommended to post here. I wanted to ask you about the possibility of adding a french section to the lore wiki (or any language present on the val wiki but missing from the val lore wiki, really, but I am still sadly only very french). I'm quite active on the french Valorant server's lore channel (the server has 260k+ members), but I noticed I end up redirecting people to the lore wiki and KA anytime i want to share resources for those interested in digging deeper into the lore. The only good french articles of lore are (imo) some very outdated blog posts as well as a few videos, but those will naturally become outdated as well with time. Actually, someone over there even claimed to have "worked" on a translation and got mods to pin their messages in that channel. As much as I appreciate the initiative, their texts are truly just the wiki's articles copypasted 1:1 into Google Translate and therefore full of grammatical mistakes, with some phrases actually becoming misleading, many names/proper nouns getting translated literally to unofficial terms for no reason every other time, and every linked source removed. This whole thing is driving me a bit mad, and our mods suggested to give them better content to share to the french community if we were not happy with what we got from the AI
Being the stubborn idiot i am, I'm already planning on doing a complete translation of the lore's wiki, since I've relied on it for years and I find it to be the most complete and accurate content one can find out there about the lore. I guess this should cause no issue given the wiki seems to be fully edited under CC-BY-SA licensing (if I understood correctly), but I thought it would be a great addition to also add it to the lore's wiki, since the "casual" wiki also got partially translated already
Please let me know if you guys are interested, or if someone is already working on it. I'd love to contribute! :)
We've had the discussion of language translations before and the wiki team certainly isn't opposed to the idea. It would be a little case by case per language, but it should be possible to incorporate translated versions of each page (though we might have to work out how) as someone creates them. We couldn't necessarily guarantee assistance, but I don't see why we couldn't have you get started on something like that if you so please.
I've been a little inactive in VALORANT lore and the wiki recently, so I'm gonna let another scribe chime in as well before I recommend taking my word as 'law' heh
A quick question from someone who's been out of the loop. Do we have any details on who or what ultimately calls the shots and finances the VALORANT protocol?
Not yet
Thank you
Hello! I'm a little unclear on what "Fade made good on her promise" means here. Did she actually reveal these dossiers to the public, or just to all the agents, or just to brimstone? I assume it wasnt to the public or that would have caused more problems but i feel like thats what this implies? If anyone knows who exactly got to see the dossiers I would be interested to know (ex: could sova have seen breach's or any combo like that)
as far as we know, she hasn't released their info to the public and has agreed to cooperate with the VP when she learned that they had nothing to do with the person she's looking for
I wondered that for a while too
Who can see the dossiers
okay so basically we dont know beyond that the public doesnt know😭
ty!
i didn't play valo when yoru launched, so could someone please tell me if we ever got to know whose car this was?
some russian's car, seeing the dangling decoration hanging on top
yea, I know, just wondering if we know whose
it's just a random car no?
I think it is a random dash cam that Cypher has accessed
Hey guys! Do we have any guesses what are these signs? The second symbol was used to mark radianite artifacts; could this be it? Just a symbol used to label certain artifacts?
This symbol is used to point towards library/archive iirc, There is another symbol that means radiant lock up and a third one which I think refers to the elevators
you mean this one?
actually i cant find it one the map xD
yes this sign refers to the main radiant lock up
Yeah this seems to have been on the map with the PBE but it is not on the final launch of the map
huh
im sorry, what is iirc?
This sign refers to Botanical garden
iirc is short for if I remember correctly
This sign is also visible in the elevators section where you can also find that sign that says welcome to the elder grotto
I'm trying to understand what exactly the hourglass was doing at Abyss. It seems they weren’t just holding Radiants there but were also studying radianite? By the way, another question: why didn’t they kill Vice, since she was clearly a hindrance to them, like the other Radiants? Did they possibly want to study her?
yeah they are using this triangles often
I also wonder why they kept her alive for so long, considering she seems to have been captured quite a few years ago, relatively shortly after the first light. It does seem like they were studying her and her powers.
SoH ( Scions of Hourglass) also have been clearly studying radianite's effects on plants as well for instance; They have managed to find and preserve a special plant with Gaia's Vengeance tree
They've been studying radivores as well
yep
now Why is it that they don't want any of the knowledge to become public we really have no clues
also it's interesting for me how are they flying
and symbols here painted upside down as well
like 0 gravity room or idk
yeah! they defy gravity which is pretty interesting... This water must be infused with radianite, as we can see the large water vortex on the side of the map is also defying gravity
true
and also, why we have here exactly 30 signs of SoH? Like it was ther agents who are dead now? Agents like omen and ISO
I can't say for certain this had definite lore reasons however, this might have a more strong design reasons by the map team, as Joe ( Narrative lead for VALORANT) mentioned this was a great idea that was pitched at the time the map was being designed by one of the map artists
This is interesting because this brings up two possibilities, one is that some hourglass agents died in missions due to accidents or something, another possibility is that there has been some kind of resistance group working against SoH's operations which we still don't know of yet.
If you remember in Reckoning Cinematic the Indonesian boss of hourglass tells omen they couldn't believe Omen had become one of "Them"
Who is this them? does this refer to the backers of the valroant protocol?
Has there been a historical secret group that has been opposing hourglass that we don't know of?
these questions do remain unanswered
also about that cinemating
When omen was falling down with these boss, the boss said him "foolish"
yes, he calls Omen a fool
quite an interesting expression for the last word
@digital sapphire has leveled up! (1 ➜ 2)
he said it as if he understood something that omen did not understand
yeah, like Omen is messing with something he doesn't fully get
well, thank you for your time!
ofcourse!
"considering she seems to have been captured quite a few years ago". Is it your guess or we have info about it?
that she was in jail for a few years
That is my own guess but it is based on a hints left in the lore drops. One clue is that she does not know KJ personally; KJ was the head of R&D at Kingdom at 18 years of age... if we consider her to be around 24/5 now it means Vyse was captured before 6-7 years ago.
Another clue is this voicemail from her:
https://kingdomarchives.com/voicemails#Patch_9.05
actually your guess sounds good
Notice she mentions having a better understanding of the interverse over a decade ago? This means her team's research on interverse must have started shortly after the first light (which by this point in the story it is about 12-14 years ago)
Scions of Hourglass shut down that research and captured her back then
sounds good
but was she already a radiant?
when she was working with viper on that project
Yes, by the time she was captured her radiance had manifested itself. you can see that in her tier 9 card
or whe was working with her only before first light
Viper was not working on the interverse project
they just both were researchers working for Kingdom
Viper was the science chief for Kingdom back then so Vyse knew Viper
sooo
first light happened -> she became a radiant and started studying interverse -> she was captured by SoH
yes
also it seems like on that player card she is destroying one of SoH HQ?
and that happened after she escaped from abyss
no, this is her reaching out a pleading hand to the SoH soldiers. this is her being captured by the SoH
The SoH are burning down everything around her
notice the title in her contract " tempered" ? that is hinting she was indeed burned in this incident
yep
very interesting
and the card itself called the history erased
so like, they captured vyse so noone will know anything about her
thats what are they usually doing
sounds good and logical
Yes
To the radiants that they have been capturing in all the years hourglass group has been active
Also, did you heard the theory about yorus mask being one of the astral guardians artifacts?
Yeah, his mask is in one of the trio battlepass cards titled Unearthed which includes astra's guantlet and Harbor's bracelet
It's not clear for me why Vyse has so much respect to omen. Like he was working for SoH, and because of them she was in jail for so long
AANd overall, do we know if vyse is a human or... She is made fully of metal?
That's not clear to us too, perhaps it's a sense of camaraderie in the sense that the incident that lead to both of them being in their current form are linked to SoH somehow
Again unknown until we somehow see under her mask
Fire away!
None except their locker being deactivated on Alpha and straight up removed in Omega
yep
(See WARM UP and REVELATION for details)
also clove's voicemail
for me it looks like agent 8 did something awfull and protocol kicked him
You mean voiceline?
otherwise what kind of misson can take so long
yes
Potential plothole maybe? This line would apparently refer to Alpha only
No not really iirc
why they want to purge the data? Is it because protocol attacked their base?
and what are these numbers?
Likely yes
@young kraken any guesses?
also, how they didnt finished scanning when they had so many years 0_0
and what is the meaning of that phrase? SoH studied the effects of radianite on plants, but what does the phrase mean?
aaaaand one more question. Is this player card relater to SoH?
No idea tbh, could be filler texts tbh
did you decoded this words?
at the end of cinematic
This is something I have some theories on but I cant say for certain yet
Yes it says Infinity which was the codename for Abyss while it was in development
oh wow thanks!
Possibly, this symbolizes restricting and removing something undesirable to conceal something, and it was the hourglass that dealt with hiding the truth.
thats my guesss
Wait sorry not this frame, this just says Valorant
oh ok
In the sandstone background one it says infinity on the side of the screen using SoH language
Hard to say tbh... memento mori is whats written above training room in the VPHQ too
yep
i have one guess. May be it is what kay o said to protocol, that they have to remember about it
because radianite war is comming
and therefour they must practice
idk 😄
Honestly difficult to say. Idk how much the VP actually knows about the war that happened in KayO's timeline. From some voiceline it seems not too much tbh
what are your theories? Or is it a secret for now?
Well my current theory is that the overarching meaning of this phrase will point to Lotus. In Lotus astral guardians used huge lotus vines to transfer power around the temple.
They destroyed Lotus but at the sametime Lotus was a connection with other universes with alpha being potentially one branch of the multiverse
wait this can be explanation to who destroyed lotus on Alpha earth
@digital sapphire has leveled up! (2 ➜ 3)
yes
Yes hourglass destroyed alpha Lotus
We're kinda almost certain SoH were the ones who destroyed Alpha Lotus, evidenced by the Lotus flower in the SoH's boss' room in RECKONING
yep, also noticed it
well well well
a lot of things add up
so may be here they also consider lotus
Yes the question that remains here is what their motivations were which is unanswered
yeah i also have this question now
like everone knows about radianite
what are they still trying to hide
but on the patch 9.07 iirc vyse said that SoH are gone
like they are not dangerous anymore
Yes but they are not really gone, they've retreated licking their wounds in the shadows... it is very hard to destroy an org that is a few centuries old
No problem!
is this still correct as far as official lore?
as far as we know yes it is
thank you!
Hey guys! A small question, do we have SoH on Omega earth?
It seems likely yes, but Omega SoH's level of success in their operation on Omega has been quite different; the biggest example is that on Alpha, SoH had found the Lotus much earlier than their Omega counterpart. In fact Valorant Legion on Omega is shown to intercept Omega SoH in the Revelation Cinematic. That is what Omega Fade is doing in that bar in istanbul. This man we see in revelation cinematic is the Omega counter part of the this dude we see in Reckoning cinematic for instance:
Generally as a rule of thumb always remember that Alpha and Omega were the same earth before first light split them apart. The major changes in each universe happens after the first light. SoH is an organization that has existed before the first light so it is very likely that it exists both on Alpha and Omega
Are you sure that earth was split in two parts exactly after the first light? I’m asking it since we know that there was a lot of this “first lights” before, but SoH were able to hide them.
we know that First light was the point Alpha and Omega were split apart, but I am curious, while it is quite possible that there were other instances of a "first light" event ( as in a super charged global radianite event) Do you think there is solid proof that these events did in fact happen and SoH covered them up?
Because I personally only think other first light like events might have happened but it is only theory at this point not a fact
This is message from someone at Riot I believe
“…for the first time (or is it?), humankind is able…”
or is it
I think this is a hint that this is not the first time this has happened
I think they wrote this message before becoming riot dev? so the basic content of it can be seen as a good summary of the plot, but is not to be taken word for word (i believe)
I belive Cyn recieved that description from David at the time and the description still stands... still I'd say that offers it as a possibility tbh and we still cant say if that other FL event took place before creation of SoH or after
true
but are you saying here that before the FL there was only one earth? Because i thought that there alreadt were 2 earthes, but after FL they became less similar to each other
To explain my point better. a multiverse have existed before the first light, Omega did not exist before first light. It is alpha's mirror earth that split from it when the first light happened.
As time passes since the first light the earths grow more different
oookey, thanks!
heck, thats why they've had this images on the phones
they were going to lotus as well, like alpha SoH did
they wanted to destroy it as well
but Omega Fade prevented it from happining
and this is also one more proof that SoH destroyed lotus on alpha, because they wanted to do it on omega as well
also what is interesting for me, the lotus flower in this picture has not yet blossomed
but on map Lotus it is
who did cypher send this to
it translates to something about Phoenix not accepting this gift, but Cypher knows someone who will definitely accept the gift
as to who it is? no clue
o so not new agent or smth?
i mean was it for an agent released around that time
probably
doesnt seem to like chess tho
next agent is def male
o btw scribes gonna fix this?
Me arising from my slumber of inactivity to make one change and then proceeding to go dark again for another year:
why do you say so?
since last one was female
and they follow female-male-female-male order
so far at least
oh right
they just skipped clove
gonna fix this too? or is my grammar bad
Maybe if you ask politely, it will be considered
will you fix this too pwease
Not necessarily, it has never been touched upon
Usually the map changes that happen due to gameplay adjustments do not affect the story behind each map so I don't think any gameplay oriented map change affects the story really
The changes that do play a role in driving the lore forward is usually like things in the monitors, announcements or tablets left around the maps and not the geometry of the map itself
Hey guys! Is there any difference between atlas and force atlas?
Atlas is a secretive org on Omega that seems to have both intelligence and military branches
Hi again! Someone know something about this experiment?
this is what i found
i guess this is first time someone mentioned this experiment
because this player card is very old
We've been waiting to learn more about experiment X011 for a long time, other than the announcement you've found there is only a picture of it in the map Icebox which also belongs to a few years ago...
Joe (narrative lead) has mentioned that their time will come:
#dev-q-and-a message
so uh
i saw there was a page about npcs on the wiki and besides people like paul or oran there was also cypher's family on there
i was wondering if i could write a page about beloved babushka and one of the record keepers could upload it? if it's not relevant enough for an entry or too much work i understand, just thought i'd ask
(also dk if this is the right channel but didn't know where else to ask)
Thanks again
Sure I think we can include her there
I think the general consensus was no but do agent utility updates also sometimes reflect agent lore? eg Sage's slows now affecting dashes, do we assume it's always been like this or Sage has now increased in skill to affect dashes
I mean you can see it like that, there is always room for improvement when it comes to an agent's control over their radiance
Literally this isn't even their final form
Hi everyone! Has anyone tried to decipher the inscriptions on this container on the bottom right?
They're coords, iirc
First one is Svalbard, the other is Lotus
I think
Yeah, the original discussion was here: #1145071255750455336 message
And yeah, this implies that Kingdom is aware of what the Nexus is, and that it was destroyed
Which is its own rabbit hole
Unfortunately, we've not gotten any new info about that, to my knowledge
Thanks!
This changes a lot
is there a "master guide" to all the decyphered messages in abyss?
also, does gekko have any lore? IIRC he just dropped on us, did they at all establish on why he's in the top-secret strike team?
same for KAY//O, ik he's from an alternate timeline where radiants and humans warred against each other and reyna was the leader of the radiants
everything about the hourglass symbols can be found here
Gekko is not a super soldier or something that's true, he's just a lil guy, what makes him so valuable is that he seems to be only person who has an active friendly bond with four radivores.
Gekko's an only child and his mom is a vet that's another thing we know through announcements on Sunset
ty
they have yet to tell us why a bond with radivores is so important tho
Hey random question and I'm not sure there's a true answer, but in the RECKONING cinematic is there a best guess for what the liquid Viper tossed on Omen was? Specifically I'm asking like is it likely to be an earlier form of snakebite or her other abilities, or is there just not enough info to say?
it's most likely her snakebite poison
Thanks!
hiya, so I'm writing something and I still can't wrap my head around Clove's recruitment... so Omen somehow learnt of Clove because of SoH, since they were for some reason interested in Clove... so he went out to the library to rescue and then brought them back to base, but before Clove had been on the boat with SoH when presumed dead and learnt of the elder grotto... so why was Clove even recruited? for protection against SoH? just for VP to be able to find Abyss? it seems to me like their knowledge of the elder grotto was the only thing they had to offer, they couldn't even shoot neither had any powerful abilities that could have benefitted VP in any way.
My personal interpretation of Clove's recruitment was that Omen did not know anything about Clove when they first met. He learned that the Hourglass journal was located in Edinburgh's central library and made his way there. SoH agents must have been on his scent ( my guess is he probably attacked a few of them to learn about the journal in the first place) so when he got to the Library and took the journal a fight broke out. My guess here is that Clove, who was there in the library at the time, got shot and died in this fight. Omen managed to escape but the Hourglass took Clove's body. It is very possible they also had no idea Clove was immortal. But I am thinking Omen stealthily kept watch of the hourglass agents that he'd fought. All this time, Clove was "playing dead", when the time was right they came back to life and Omen realized this person can literally come back from the dead, so naturally he let the VP know.
hm I see, thanks. still really not sure what VP hoped to gain from recruiting them, though.
Hi. I was wondering if there are any theories on what happened between Viper and Sage (what Viper is referring to when she says Sage has "failed" her.) As far as I know theres no explanation for this and people used to think it had something to do with omen, but since we know more about omen's origins, is there a theory that currently people cite for what happened between them?
Mostly speculation that Sage tried to res Omen, which failed and made him what he is now. This theory still fits after we learn of Omen's past since we did not see him explicitly turn into his current form when he got "microwaved", so there could be a time window where Viper contacted Sage after the incident
No concrete evidence btw
one of the better known speculations is what Sabot mentioned above; I personally don't think the person whose life Viper was desperate to save was Omen. In a voiceline to Reyna Viper says sarcastically "What's it like, Reyna, fighting to keep a loved one alive? No, please. Tell me."
She says that to convey to Reyna that she knows how difficult that is... Except she lost that loved one and Reyna still has a chance to save hers. Considering Omen was not a loved one of Viper's ( he was the assassin sent to kill her) this is probably someone else that used to be close to Viper and is now dead because Sage failed to bring them back to life.
🙂↕️
i couldn't find this anywhere, so thought i'd ask: how do the agents from Omega Earth travel to Alpha Earth, and then get back to Omega Earth once they've stolen radianite? i'm assuming it's not just via one teleportal, because you'd think VP would just shut that down, but maybe i'm wrong
@robust pulsar has leveled up! (0 ➜ 1)
See the ending of the Sunset cinematic, they seem to have tp tech so advanced that they don’t need a conventional portal exit like the ones on Bind or the one seen in the Pearl cinematic
4:02
Which also happens to be the kill banner for Project A
niiiiice. thank you!
Anytime!
hey, what's with Tejo and Vyse, like why was Vyse being hunted and why was tejo bombing jett and phoenix?
are you talking about the V25 Act1 cinematic or is the Vyse part of your question about Vyse being held in a cell by the hourglass?
In the V25 Act 1 cinematic, Tejo was not bombing Phoenix in Paris. He was using his ultimate right behind him where he was being pushed by enemies. He was basically helping him change location. If you are referring to him using his missilito in the dark alleyway in Bangkok he was also helping Phoenix and Raze there.
Oh, alr
Yeah, the cinematic
i mean, a crime for kingdom, sure. we dont really know what country/global govts have to say about mirror earth travel afaik
@alpine sonnet isn't kingdom a global entity? i assumed since radianite is a major renewable source that the corporation has a monopoly on, that they may have had control over the limits (or even general exposure to the public) of mirror earth travel
is there 0 information on that so far, and up to headcanons atm? thank you!
edit: i guess this only applies to alpha earth?
(this is in reply to their comment in #lore-and-theories but in general i would like to learn more!)
I mean yeah but so is like…Amazon. We don’t have specifics on how much they control.
Also I’m not a lore expert I’m just a casual
ooo i see, thank you for replying regardless
Yw
My wife (strawberry) will be awake soon and can answer your questions more thoroughly
apologies I just got to check my disc finally
Kingdom does have a lot of influence with how Radianite is used since their scientists were the ones who "discovered" it and they also are in charge of energy production for 2/3 of the world, so they would indeed also have control over inter-dimensional travel; However that is more something to discuss on Omega earth considering Alpha earth does not have any well established interdimensional teleportation nor wide spread knowledge of a multiverse existing.
thank you! so i guess it may be possible that interdimensional teleportation could be gatekept in certain countries/areas, if it isn't widespread knowledge on alpha earth?
Can someone explain to me in simple terms whats the scions of hourglass😭😭
They are a mysterious organization Omen and Iso were part of.
We dont know much about them but we do know that they wanted to keep Radianite a secret from the world and thats why they planned assassination on Viper who was studying radianite at the time.
They are wide spread and have trained assassins.
Abyss is their main headquarters
OOOOOO gotcha
You can read more about it here

do we know kinda when the first light happened? like how many years ago ?
the 10 years was retconned (EDIT: THIS IS FAKE NEWS)
Wait when
WAIT
Just the date in duality was retconned I thought
nevermind, i thought maybe the FL celebrations email mentioned a date
actually you're right, the Yoru email from 4.0 did say Kingdom discovered radianite roughly 10 years ago and I guess this was around First Light
let this be a lesson for me to not talk in this chat, sorry!
I'd guess it must be around 13-14 years post first light approximately
thanks guys!!!
was trying to figure out roughly how old some the agents were when they got their powers, if they got them around the first light that is
lucia must have been so young omg :(( had to have been practically an infant
Brimstone and Viper are the executives of VP and Sage is someone with a 'natural talent for leadership', so eventually destined to take on a role of responsibility, if she does not already have on. do we know anything more about the hierarchy in VP? I personally don't remember anything, but are there any hints to like an 'inner circle', where topics are being discussed in a smaller frame before presenting them to the rest of the crew? like maybe Brimstone, Viper, Sage, Cypher? or are those days of secrecy totally and all over?
I think as missions have gone on, things have become more transparent with the entire team, but still I think it depends on the mission as well. I don't think other than Brim and Viper who have full clearance, there is an inner circle? Mainly because that has not been hinted at too much. Some agents probably will know more than others due to their specific roles in the protocol, KJ, Cypher and Sova come to mind in that regard.
As for how much info other agents get, we know that for instance the mission with Fade was on a need to know basis even after she was captured; When they were following Harbor, it seemed like most of the agents knew about it; But then there are missions like the current plotline involving the new faction that clearly has involved all members of the protocol, as we see the emails are send to all, and it is developing like a discussion between all agents.
Hey guys, I'm having a hard time understanding what REALM and the Hourglass thing is. Are they connected? Or are they the same thing? Becuase they both seem to be interested in collecting historical artifacts, I think? If someone could clarify this for me, I would really appreciate it
As far as we know they are not connected
But honestly (THIS IS A THEORY) I can see the rogue faction growing in REALM could be working for Hourglass
But nothing confirmed yet
but what happened inside REALM, what is this faction? I'm still trying to catch up with the lore of Valorant, I lost interest after Pearl's introduction, and only know I'm trying to gain knowledge of what I missed
We dont know for sure unfortunately
but what is this rogue faction?
@scenic violet has leveled up! (6 ➜ 7)
They seem to try to get the artifacts for some purpose and they were willing to kill Harbor for it
So that is all we know abt them?
Yep
Well, I got another unrelated question
Sorry for all the questions, but I'm really exploring this rn
Its okay dw
When going to Pearl, they find two portals
One of them is the cinematic one, but what is the other one they find?
With the "secrets" that Fade talks abt
Thats the one in shattered cinematic
With the secrets?
So what is the other one?
And, just to clarify, the one in the shattered cinematic, with the secrets, is the one crossed out on the board, right?
Yes
Alright then
Thx for the replies
But where is the other portal then? The one they first used
the other one is visible inside the room on the right side of the attacker spawn... That is what KJ called a ride home in the shattered cinematic
Alpha crew can no longer use the teleporter in the basement of the comic book shop
The first portal they use to get to omega is located in the basement of the comic book shop. the same one that is in defender spawn and not reachable in the map. the second one is undiscovered yet and is in a small building in attacker spawn.
Im still searching, and I got another question
Im reading the dossiers of ATLAS
But I don't understand what is their purpose, or mission
Is this about Lotus?
Or something else?
They are a dimensional defense force so when our alpha trio made it to Omega they got on their trail and it led them to Lotus. They were both guarding the lotus and researching it to find out what it does and maybe what got Alpha agents so desperate to reach it
and im sorry for dumping so many questions, but what exactly is the interverse? it seems to be powered by purple stuff, that also looks similar to the insides of chamber's bullet, seen in the uncover fracture. What is this?
Ah I see, did they reach any conclusions about Lotus for the lore? Cause the dossiers is filled with scientific talk, and tbh, I dont understand them at all. The talk about Titan Leaders, the "mission", etc
#lore-and-theories message
I can link you to a lore thread I made recapping it?
https://x.com/Strawberry79/status/1626577673660301317
Oh yeah, no problem, thanks for the replies, they have been really helpful
I have been trying to piece together what I have missed this entire afternoon lol
Just a question about this, I already mentioned it, but do we know what the purple substance they used to power the portal is, or if it has any connection with the bullets Chamber used in Fracture?
I have a consistent lore recap in form of twitter threads that you can find in the lore thread master list, that goes patch by patch.
the purple substance is the "goo" that is inside the interverse and it also forms the texture of the portal. the energy itself seems to come from inside the interverse. the interverse is the thing powering the portal
and as far as we know, no it doesn't have a link to Chamber's bullets. those are bullets infused with radianite
will definetily check it out, thanks!
The whole thing is explained more in episode 7
yeah, but since they were purple on the inside, they seemed to match the gooey purple substance from the interverse
oh, i havent reached that part yet 😅
however what we do know about the interverse is still quite limited
yes, but so far there has been no real clue to link the two things
well, im still learning, but I was already speculating it to be something like, in between the multiverse, much like Yoru describes his usage of the mask, due to the word "inter" in interverse, and when Astra uses her powers, she also enters a purple realm, and kinda gooey too
but that is just me speculating
I personally wouldn't describe the Astral plane as gooey tbh 🤭
also, in the midst of all of this, do we have any info about Rúben Pontes after Pearl? Im Portuguese, and it was fun to have a portuguese character that seemed important
I guess 😆 Maybe I'm overreaching
we know a package was left for his niece in Pearl and we know he and oran were arrested by ATLAS in patch 10.00
oh
sad ending to both of them then
do we know what was in the package Aurora got?
we don't know it is their... ending yet
it does seem like Chamber is pissed off at ATLAS though (his last email)
no, nothing on that front
And is Oran the person Fade is looking for? He is the only character from alpha that I can think of that went to omega and didn't return, and since she seemed to confuse VP with VL when blackmailing them, it seems to be that the person she is looking for has problems with omega, and omega "kidnapped" them
No, as far as we know Fade's "him" is someone who is either very knowledgeable about radianite or is a radiant man. My personal theory is that he is her mentor
Oh okay then
Well, this was super-helpful, thank you so much, I'll keep searching
Btw
One last thing
I had an obsession with a certain card, and I wanted to know if there is more info on it
About the Experiment X077
I think that was the name
Oh it was X011
yes, no update with it, but the devs did told us that they will be expanded upon when their time in the story comes.
Great! I really wanted to know what that was, I had a theory that it came from the japanese ship from Icebox
but it was only founded on the shape of the thing they pulled out of the ship
so
i got another question 🤣
they mention six radivores went missing
geeko has 4 right?
and there is the bear deadlock fought
what is the sixth?
a radivore that can immitate plants tagged as ZN-35
and do we know what the "interference" in the interverse is? The ones Vyse was talking abt?
and how did vyse, clove, and waylay get her powers?
cloves pronouns are them/them
we dont know how any particular radiant agent got their powers outside of the assumption that it was during or shortly after First Light.
not even vyse?
alright then, thx for the info
Hey guys, sorry for the flood of questions.
The new lore stuff is so complicated and I honestly don’t know where to follow it. I’ve been out of the loop for a while, and now I’m super confused by all the updates.
so I know Project Landfall failed because VP intervened, but nothing happened after that? Where did the other Radivores go?
Then there’s the Abyss and the SOH thing, which already has me lost. like who the heck is SOH? How are they connected to Omen, Iso, and Clove? What’s their purpose and is it all over now?
And somehow, Vyse came out of the teleporter or something? Is she part of SOH?
Then Tejo and Wayley joined VP
was there a specific reason why they did?
Now there’s the new map, Corrode.
Apparently it’s connected to Atlas and Omega Earth? Who even is Atlas i know they have been working since the lotus came out but its that mean its somehow connected to lotus?, and why are they trying to make a mega spike and new Radianite?
Also, I thought Oran and Ruben died at Everett Linde, but it seems like they didn’t?
I missing anything else that’s happened since Project Landfall?
Hey, no worries, this is the place to ask
Project landfall failed due more reasons than just the VP but VP def played a big role.
tbh we didn't hear much about the fate of the other radivores in Kingdom West but one possibility is that they were teleported to the interverse when that big explosion happened OR they went into the single cell hibernation mode like we see Gekko's buddies do. We know the fate of one of the Radivores is still unknown: ZN-35 (it can imitate plants)
As for Scions of Hourglass, they are a centuries old organization whose main mission has been to basically erase Radianite from collective memory, because "Humanity is not ready". We don't know the exact reason why they think humanity isn't ready yet unfortunately. They have been stealing or removing any record of radianite in history through the ages and have killed or imprisoned radiant people.
Around 11-13 years before the current events of the story Dr.Sabine Callas (Viper) discovered (we should say rediscovered tbh) an unknown element that we know as Radian/radianite. Scions got the wind of this research and obviously started planning to stop it at all costs. They decided to murder Dr.Callas and sent their best assassin at the time to do it. This man tried to murder her with a knife, in the struggle that happened he got severely burned with the giga corrosive material Dr.Callas was holding, and she pushed him into a test chamber where he was hit with multiple radianite beams, he and the entire universe was split as a result. This man is who we now know as Omen.
Scions fails in that mission and the First Light is the result. Years later, The research on Radivores and project landfall in Kingdom West gets on Scions of Hourglass' radar as well. They set on stopping that too. They send one of their best assassins, the man we know as Iso to kill any key scientists around the project. After the VP blows up the facility, Iso sneakily shows up and kills the scientist we saw in the Sunset cinematic.
Iso uses a jammer device to get past any possible security feed and enter the facility undetected. The VP finds the trace of this Jammer thanks to Sova's deep scans of the Kingdom West facility. The logo on this device leads them to a hitman on the darkweb pretending to want to defect from Scions of Hourglass.
This is Iso's first encounter with the VP. He is trying to infiltrate the VP and kill Omen as to tie the remaining loose end. While he is waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike, he has to spend time with the agents and see them going on missions. He is impressed with the openness in the VP and how deeply they believe in the cause they are fighting for. He starts believing that the VP is in fact fighting for good of the universe and ends up truly defecting from Scions.
As for Vyse
Vyse was one of the scientists that was researching the interverse around the times that the first light happened. She and her team were attacked by Scions, their research was destroyed and she was kidnapped and studied in Abyss. She didn't come through a teleporter, that hourglass shaped room in Abyss was a cryo cell where she was kept in extremely cold temp because her abilities are muted in very cold temps. When the VP attacked Abyss, the gun fights that broke out ended up damaging the glass front wall of her cell. That compromised the temp control of the cell and she woke up, managed to muster up enough power and broke out of Abyss.
She went on a hunt for some Hourglass people, the VP managed to get to her in Seoul and convinced her to join them.
I will say, yes I agree that storyline was put on pause after that and I agree that it was a little abrupt.
As for Tejo
Tejo is one of Brimstone's old friends, someone who fought alongside him back in the time they were in the Ragged Ravens special force group with Tariq. Tejo was alerted about several interdimensional breaches made into Alpha universe thanks to an unnamed source only he knows. He wanted to get to the bottom of it and the most dependable guy he know for it was Brimmy. He ended up finding Brim's location and the mad man he is, skydived ONTO the VPHQ's island.
He basically recruited himself lmao. But yes these incursions that Tejo had detected were done by ATLAS and the storyline has got us to where we are now, in Corrode, omega France.
As for Oran and Ruben...
When the map Pearl came out, we learned that Oran and Ruben had escaped to Omega through the teleporters on Fracture A site and had wanted status with ATLAS and were in hiding.
In patch 10.00 they were captured by ATLAS and were forced to work on the Margaspike project.
There is a quite strong possibility that Oran and Ruben worked with Chambers on destroying the Large radian collider on Fracture, he was the one who helped them escape and later helped them laylow on Omega. I have a Theory about it called the Odyssey theory if you'd like to read it!
omg tysm for all the clarification!! yesss im curious👀👀

I'm working on my next art piece right now but could not help but make one more #Valorant #Lore Theory thread in the meantime, this time focusing on Pearl. This is a follow up again on my Odyssey theory thread which you can find here:
https://t.co/wUD2saJR5h
#Lore thought of the day is the parallels between the project at Everette-Linde facility (Fracture) and The Manhattan Project. I thought I had made a thread on this but I realized that I discussed it on discord and not in a thread so here it goes
sorry they are a bit long 😅
wait was there a specific reason why both chambers teamed up to destory the radian collider on fracture?
and is there any more information abt Atlas?
Based on the most recent patch we got in 11.02, I would say yes they teamed up for multiple reasons. One could be that the destruction of the facility can not be blamed on one universe and used against the other, another reason could be that the method of destroying the collider needed presence of both Alpha and Omega Radianite so one TDF bullet would not have been enough as it carried only radianite of its own world.
considering how invested ATLAS was in the research going on in Fracture I'd say they had some considerable stakes in it and potentially were counting on creation of a weapon through the research.
ATLAS is a interdimensional defense force that exists only on Omega. They have some links to Kingdom Industries behind the scenes and have reached out to Valorant Legion from time to time but the two orgs don't see the other too favorably.
This was a voicemail by Cypher in patch 5.03 reporting on what he's learned about ATLAS
Atlas was also the org that was studying what the heck happened in Lotus for a while because Legion would not give them their report on the matter
▶️Which in turn *could* help explain why both Alpha and Omega Chambers needed to take the shot simultaneously with their Tour De Force.
Each TDF’s bullets are made with radianite of its own world and the collision needed both types of radianite.
Are visibly non-human radiants common on Alpha? I can only think of Vyse, since she was working on the Interverse at Kingdom when First Light happened, and her banner in-game implies that she had her radiance when the Scions attacked.
Everyone else seems to have retained their human form (aside from Omen, but his transformation wasn't First-Light related I think?)
Has there been any examples of visibly non-human radiants in the background of official art anywhere?
Also Strawberry your summary was very helpful, thank you! I enjoyed reading your theory as well
tbh it is hard to answer this, because we don't know what exactly Vyse looks like under her armor.
But Omen's transformation is directly as cause of the first light. He split apart with the universe.
As far as I can remember every radiant human still looks human after their radiance manifests.
aw I am happy you found it helpful
Ohh I assumed she had a shell encased in liquid metal via the Lore Wiki. Since she can't go outside maybe she can't take her suit off regardless of what's underneath?
oh heck... this might not be accurate, thank you for mentioning this, I'll be revisting this page
We don't know if Vyse's skin is liquid metal, we do know however that her abilities from a radianite and carbon based metallic substance that is malleable for a time and she can control it and that it goes inert when exposed to very low temps. But whatever she looks like I guess she might be severely burned
one of her contract titles is tempered which is the state that metal reaches when exposed to high heats
This is a nitpick, but should Vyse also be listed as a former employee under 'Notable people'?
https://valorant.fandom.com/wiki/Kingdom_Corporation
Yes that's true
Ohh okay. This makes sense...since she is carbon-based(?) I am assuming her appearance when working at Kingdom was human > radiant form > burned form (in which she was kidnapped by Abyss)
Vincent Fabron also needs to be listed as Chief of weapons design
I could add it in?
the carbon based thing is probably due to her being a human as in she has bio matter in the metallic mix probably. And I think it is safe to say her radiant form is similar to her human form still
If you have edit permissions;
Or you can leave a note for the editors in the Valorant wiki server
oh that's a good point, lol
i just added the edit and justified it, admin can reverse it if they disagree (there might be a justification for chamber's, idk)
if that happens i'll pop into the wiki server, i didn't know that was a thing
How do the agents tell apart the Alpha and Omega counterparts of people on their team? Is there a running list of differences?
I think one of the devs said there were visual differences that isn't in game due to balancing, for example Omega Harbor wouldn't have the REALM tattoos that Alpha Harbor has since REALM doesn't exist on Omega
Then there's this line: https://kingdomarchives.com/voicelines/clove?share=9490
"You know what? If one of those lookalikes came over here and pretended to be one of ya. I'm not sure I'd be able to tell the difference."
Could be a joke by Clove? But they could also really mean it
We also see some examples in cinematic like INCURSIONS
Omega Jett tends to have her hood up all the time, Alpha Jett doesn't
https://kingdomarchives.com/archives?version=506&filters=126
https://kingdomarchives.com/archives?version=507&filters=126
Some people theorize these 2 voicemails from Kj and Raze to be setting up for some sort of imposter plot line, but nothing ever came of it
oh i'm sorry i misread
Thanks for the info!
I thought it was pretty final, it seemed like a gag that Raze went from partying > on an island
Yeah me too
That island is Breeze btw, just an fyi
And with the teleporter there
I see where the theory is coming
I don't buy it per se but
When you have an inkling this might somehow come to be relevant and important
I hope they show more of these differences, it was hard to tell in the recent MV, but with leaks(?)/ig story from fade's VA || both fades will be in the same video ||
Yep
I know this might be too early to ask, but were there differences in the Omega Agents from the MV that was just released? I've looked at it for a bit and can't tell
well, if we think about this a bit more realistically than solely what we see in cinematics, I think there are ways to tell a! and o!agents apart. different hair cut, different clothes on that day, a different selection of the arsenal. the fact we see agents only ever wear the same things is for viewer clarity and agent character, so I think it's safe to assume they have a way of telling eachother apart.
Not necessarily
Mainly because there are no mirror agents to compare
That makes sense, I wish the cinematics had that easter egg for viewers, but I suppose it's hard to keep up with
I've looked at both Phoenix's, and I can't tell it apart other than O!Phoenix seems to be a bit more serious.
omg thank you strawberry! back reading all the lore!
is reyna's coming home card suggestion that she might be a socialite?
hiii it's me again 🏃 is there any information on the timeline of omen trying to murder viper + first light? were they simultaneous? atm i think it's discovery of radianite --> viper's attempted murder --> first light --> VP formed?
thank you in advance! i'm trying to see where vyse's transformation fits in all this
what i have so far is this, i would appreciate if there are any clues to a more concrete timeline
- viper discovers radianite --> failed murder attempt by scions via omen--> first light/public reveal of radianite
- vyse's team works on the interverse post first light? or pre --> after a couple years, successful murder attempt on interverse dept? --> vyse imprisoned before VP is formed
i do think vyse was working on the interverse for quite a while, but then got affected by FL, so i'm wondering how long there was research on the interverse..
Oh I missed this question, I'm sorry. Even if her roots was not one of great wealth (hard to say with the info we have right now tbh) but currently she is very wealthy (this is shown very clearly in her 2022 take over too), I am unsure about the socialite status.
Vyse seems to be one of the people who attained their radiance early one after the first light and she was kidnapped by SoH not too long after her radiance manifested. Right now it seems like Omen getting hit by radianite beams the night he tried to kill Viper was what kickstarted the first light. At the time Omen was trying to kill Viper the discovery of Radianite was not publicly known. It only became public knowledge after radiant people started popping up following the first light.
Viper discovers Radianite and is studying it but it is not public knowledge yet ➡️ SoH sends Omen to murder her and he fails ➡️ First Light happens ➡️ Radiant people suddenly start gaining their powers and are taken by Kingdom ➡️ discovery of Radianite is made public and Radiance becomes understandable leading to them becoming accepted by the society
It is difficult to put an exact time frame on the study of the interverse with the info we have but in my personal opinion it must have started very very shortly after Viper discovers radianite as a parallel research to understand the effects of the element on reality and continues a bit after the first light until Vyse is captured by the SoH.
Thank you! This is exactly what I needed. I wasn't aware of Reyna's extra tweets during the takeover and the timeline is really useful.
Is it widely determined that Viper pushed for the public reveal of Radianite after she 'won'? Or was that out of her control? I know she secluded herself after the attack but it seems like a corporate decision to make it public due to KC's influence. Ultimately publicizing Radianite made radiants accepted in society, but despite being on the Board of the Advisors, I haven't been able to find concrete evidence that she wanted to publicize it herself in the years following FL.
Thank you for your insight!
We don't have details on what happened that lead to public reveals of radianite but it is likely she played a strong role in it.
have there been any implications on teleportation scars (?) on kids / non radiants in Yoru's lore?
Unfortunately nothing
These scars have only been mentioned once by Yoru in a voicemail
Actually I’m not sure if they refer to the same thing but
“Dimensional scarring”
all good, thanks Sabot!
I do have a question. I don’t know if its been asked before or have been addressed?
But α earth and Ω earth are mirrors right? So when the First Light happened, did the original Earth split into two? this confused me and the multiverse thingy.
According to the murals/records at Pearl B halls, that’s correct
i see! thanks Sabot!
I'll go check the other lore thread related to this.
Hi all, I was watching all the cinematic and realized I couldn’t really find what the conclusion to Paris was. Did I miss a video/context or something?
Omg not an evil YouTube short I never remember to look at those. Tysmmm
np!
Do we know who shot them down?
Presumably ATLAS, iirc we have no concrete evidence
are Sage's earrings radianite? They're too blue to be jade but another dinner stone possibly
I think it is safe to say they are possibly made from the same Radianite crystals as the ones she uses to direct her powers
excellente that's what I thought
guys if riot games ever dropped series, which agents do you think will appear. cz I don't think all the agents could appear
The devs actually responded to a question similar to this in Masters Toronto Lore panel, I've posted their response here :

We have a rich cast of characters & what makes this cast work is the relationships between them, the conflicts, the dynamics, so we can’t focus on one agent and tell that story.
yea I agree every character is connected to other in some way since they're all a part of the protocol
do you think we'll get to see the story from start just like how they did with arcane?
like what was first light and how valorant was formed
do we have any guesses as to how vyse joined legion? since the Scions are only on alpha
Scions are not only present on Alpha
Wait you inspired me
Was SoH’s attack on Vyse a coordinated effort between Alpha and Omega Scions?
Like
Attack both A- and O- Vyse at the same time
Back with more dumb questions, since kayo came back at that specific point in time, do we think in his timeline only the agents added prior to him were involved in the war/were people he knew specifically?
Or does he have secret knowledge of every new agent lol

If the next agent can help
Sage to ressurect, is
Sage is going to not be pickled?
If so, oomf is worried that we don't get any more dramas from the Sages' situation
-# sorry, if my question isn't clear, english's not my first language and i have a SLI
I believe agent 30 will be able to help Sage break these crystals through resonance but Sage's main problem is to hit a natural balance between life and death
In fact Sage needs to be alive and active if she is to find this balance, so agent 30 can actually help us get the full arc for her by getting her out of the pickle
I have a theory about it

Thanks for your response
Hello! I was catching up on the lore and I had some questions on radivores. I know Gekko's creatures are radivores, and Veto was mutated by one(?) Is the "nightmare" Fade communed with also a radivore?
