#Can you give me stylistic feedback?

Thank you so much for taking a look!! I’ll make those updates. I’ll also create more pages and place some of the content there, so yay it helps with the issue that there’s too much content on one page. Thank youuuuuu!!!
Hi! It looks like these are drop downs, but the direction of the arrows feels like it implies that content will be coming from the right, not from below, imo! But overall i think it's looking really nice :)
Thank you @plush hazel! Totally agree with you. I made the change to a plus / minus button 🙂
@bold owl Just wanted to say that your most recent design iteration looks great!
Hi! I’m creating a travel page for the coffee region of Colombia. I’m trying a different style, something a little more creative than I’m used to, and I’m having a bit of a difficult time since it feels “flat.”
Do you have any suggestions of style changes I can make? Does something look off? Please let me know ❤️
You’re not gonna like the biggest piece of feedback, but do away with the background. Or at least tome it down a bit. Pages with hard, in focus, and demanding image backgrounds always seem to give off a 2004 website vibe, unless done tastefully and intentionally. It also causes some readability issues since your white text is above a heavy texture of stars. Coffee cards on the very bottom, I’d switch the blur background to black. Your current white blue is a bit distracting and again makes it hard to read the white text. A good way to test this visually is just to step back and squint your eyes. Usually this helps me pick out a lot of visual stuff that I thought I liked but now no longer don’t.
Also what do stars got to do with coffee LOL. Or maybe it’s part of the branding 🙂
Not at all, this is really helpful, especially as I’m trying a different style outside of my comfort zone. I’ll tone it down and see how it looks. Thank you!
Yeah totally respect you having a go at this and experimenting. I’m just giving feedback based on my initial thoughts so don’t it too harshly ☺️☺️
The background makes the page busy and hard to read, as someone else had mentioned. I'd suggest using a solid background and only incorporating the blue background in certain parts of the page.
Structurally, the layout is great and appears to look dynamic in some areas. But the visual design/UI doesn't feel related to coffee such as the color palette. I'd recommend taking a look at existing coffee websites and gathering inspiration.
Hi! Yes, I’m reworking my design based on the feedback. It was good to receive it since I was feeling lost in this new style I was trying out. This is my new work in progress, which I hope addresses the feedback 😊 (and if there’s more feedback, please let me know!! It’s so helpful to me!)
