What is the goal of the thumbnail?
What's the story you would like to tell?
Is there some sort of tagline or comment you could add that tells me more about the thumbnail?

Is it for a YouTube Video? What's the catch?

It's a personal project.

I’m curious about the purpose of this YouTube video. If it’s a deep dive into the Reyna character (assuming viewers are already familiar with her) I’d recommend using image #2. However, if the video is introducing Reyna as a new character unfamiliar to viewers, image #1 would be more effective. The distinction comes down to emphasis: image #1 highlights her name, while image #2 gives greater prominence to her portrait. In other words, with image #2, I can tell her name starts with an “R” and ends with an “A,” but not much more.
