Hey, so digging into your projects, I think your website doesn't quite show what you're capable of personally (I'm not a designer but I've hired a fair few people, so take this with a pinch of salt; designers more experienced may feel otherwise). To directly answer you, yes I think you can improve it. Your projects themselves, to me seem good, but you have to dig into them to discover that. The first impression of the website doesn't quite match the projects. And I don't know how much it matters if they're interesting or not? As long as they are executed well and cohesive etc.

I would remove "layoff" from your resume as it doesn't make you more employable to say you lost your job.

AI/ML PRODUCT DESIGNER | ELVTR COURSE
Is this a course, or work experience? It's under work experience.

The background wall isn't the most beautiful (not criticizing how you look--you are well presented, just the wall).

This https://www.dianangu.com/outfitly and this https://www.dianangu.com/case-study-schmingle have a different style to the page layout; I'm not talking about the projects themselves but the website pages look different.

I don't think you have to improve to make an improvement i.e. you have the skill to make this look better.

Maybe make the non NDA ones obvious (and ensure your password is included in your resume when submitting).

Your resume itself has room for improvement in my opinion but this message is already long! So I will shut up now haha, absolutely remove layoff from it though.

Hey @supple grove I really appreciate your honest feedback and the time you took to write all of this!

and thanks for pointing out the layoff. I've been a little worried that my short-term employment at companies appears as career hopping. Been trying all sorts of things to avoid getting my resume tossed out..

as for the background wall, thanks for pointing that out. I've been on the fence about the hero section and have been working on a new one at the moment.

Appreciate you providing examples of my case study outfitly and schmingle too. I agree the inconsistancy really stands out... I've been getting mixed advice such as "show consistancy" and "senior designers dont have time to make nice case studies".

This is mostly me rambling. Thank you again for all of this, truly appreciate your help!

# violet dew Hey <@1008270213986406502> I really appreciate your honest feedback and the time...

You're welcome! I hope I wasn't too blunt (I am a bit too direct sometimes).

Regrding this site, I think it's more fun. The bit I have screenshot I'm not super fond of? I would maybe use a different font or something. Also Evan from this server linked me these the other day, not sure if they are helpful to you for inspiration --
