i will make a thread, it's more contained. imo you can jump straight into it but a week in react might be a good idea
a lot of the same things are used e.g. useffect
Do you think i can learn react on the go ?
Alright, i'll try it then.
I'm pretty new to frontend development
I've mostly been doing backend for the past years, i've only recently started fullstacking.
oh fair, hmm, maybe learn react on its own because you might understand better but idk
depends what your timeline is for things but one week with it won't hurt anyone usually
Yeah, i'll look into it mate. Thanks.
np!
Do you mind if i update you or ask for help if i need to ?
sure go for it, i am usually here whenever on a break haha
What do you do for work ?
I work in threejs with nextjs mostly
You self-taught, or did you go to school?
well obviously self taught on that, but did you get into SWE on your own or through school?
Well, i've been programming for about 5 years now, mostly doing backend and systems programming (mostly in C). I was into malware and cheat development, but i took a brake from that. Now, i'm just back into webdev and trying to expand my skills to get hired or start a SAAS project .
oh what games did you develop cheats for?
i have played vs a few different aimbots and wallhacks (haven't used them)
Roblox after hyperion
which was fun but really annoying
and i got to work on a valorant driver
but it's not rlly about complexity at that point, it's mostly just working with windows.
ahh I see
And reverse engineering
it would be hard these days to not get banned i imagine too
Yeah, the entire cheat community on roblox is full of children with bare minimum skills.
The market is monopolized by 3 big cheats
entry is pretty hard IMO
