You are putting out bad advice

I don't need to. You're the one claiming backend is easy etc.

#

It's misleading people

Using DBMS or a CMS and ai then getting your site hacked doesn't make it easy

raven merlin
#

Well how else would someone be able to get any of this to work if the client requested a custom feature and you don't know anything?

raven merlin
#

Sure forget ai then, that would make it even harder if someone doesn't know much

sorry for being nosey but coming from a comp-sci student i don't feel like you Joel had experience coding a real product

#

if you think it is just copy and paste then it is worrying

CMSs can speed you up, agreed, but that doesn't make backend easy and the moment a client requests something custom you're going to be screwed

uneven holly
#

But for nothing crazy

raven merlin
#

Can I see a site you've built for a client?

I dont plan to do a job focused on backend as I want to do web design with a lil bit of sprinkle on it but for easy backend stuff this one does the job

If they want a whole custom stuff so be it, again for probably the 4th time

IT DEOENDS ON WHAT YOU ARE DOING

so for peoole doing stuff like i am, I would recommend it to them

#

Like if you are required to develop a website a lil bit more complicated it wont hurt to know this

#

My takeaway is designers will do anything but network with an actual dev FrogSparkle FrogSparkle

I have done freelancing, I work at a startup and I'm a contributor to CMS software figma bought

There is some truth to what you're saying, that's the point of a CMS but personally I think someone will walk into a trap if they think they can rely on it. Backend is not easy but that's just my experience.

An app for Shopify

#

So Shopify customers can use our software easily

You scan furniture with a phone app, then this gets uploaded and you can configure it e.g. change colour etc, then show 3d furniture on your website

I can't explain/show everything yet. When it's released I can

#

As for a startup, I think it's a good idea but might take working at a company to increase chance of success

I'd be scared it would get my domain banned but in theory it's good

#

There just has to be some legal sides to it

#

As some peoole could abuse it

#

And there has to be some auto moderation (ai) to check whatever your sending is safe

#

There will be like plans to send 50 mails oer week or 100 mails per week

#

It has to be a buisness email being used to send it , and some sorth of ypur personal stuff in the email, apparently idk about that part

#

Im thinking of what ai features, probably also helps you write a mail

#

You can send follow up mails
