#Mykie's Portfolio Presentation

Hi can you specify which ones? As all my design choices are intentional so there may be a reason for this
Also most of the text next to the icons presented are just for labeling purposes (not actually part of the design).
Here for example !
Ohhh yea I was told to go bigger
Because when they were smaller they looked disproportionate and some are meant to change upon clicking but I never got to making that iteration before the presentation and left it
Ahah that's okay ! Its just that for me I'm usually making my icons smaller so that it fits in better with the elements and the text. I first was always making things with a big size, font and everything but when I realized things just looked as better smaller well I started doing it and that's when I noticied things has always been like that on other big apps and everything.
For example, the text in your buttons are REALLY big compared to the name of the user and the "Settings" on top. You should think of it as a "hierarchy", Titles, subtitles, content / buttons etc.. (its actually html elements...)
I think that's when I started to make those design for real with tailwind, next, vuejs.. that I realized how I was supposed to do it lol
Yea thats what I said though. I focus alot on accessibility and heirarchy but my prof had other ideas. Imma likely correct it after im done with my portfolio site since I want to make that look more interesting than it does (though idk how yet) and maybe have child pages explaining the projects custom to the project itself (its own colour scheme and everything each one). But idk will have to see
Some I won't change too much to at this stage since they're getting published
Yeah i understand ! That's okay though.. I rarely touch again old projects myself, I keep on making new ones and see older ones as my progress over time
When I get a chance though I'll go back to fix that. Since they do seem big. I was a bit of a mess tryna pull this off since I was trying to finish the one getting published while fixing/doing others and it almost quite literally drove me insane haha. But that's why it doesn't look like a formal(?) Portfolio and more like an interactive talking walk-through
Yup ! But that's what I said earlier, we can see your progress over the pages so that's really cool. And i really like some of your latest work actually (for brand desing), there's some promising stuff
Oh those arent in an order some are much older than you may think 😭
I didn't do it in order of progression but order of how my "storyline" would be told moving throughout the presentation. You'd be surprised what the new vs old one are
Ahah I see. Well I really like the "mind suites" design. Along with the essence of her poster. Shadows really good too
