#Real-world example

I'll give you a real world example, using Minecraft (except not exactly what I did - since I was involved in the community, I just knew where to go). And, I'll work it out as I go
@pure ember
So, first my chosen niche.
Minecraft, has mini companies called servers, and they need awesome designs to attract a user base. That's my niche.
So, first thing I'll do is find where the people who make those servers go to chat to other people who make minecrraft servers
but im the one looking to get hired
Just read along, it'll make sense
I just skim read through the reddit thread of the first link, seems to be a lot of technical talk which seems related.
So, we found this reddit community
I'll then search through the reddit community, to find people looking for where to find designers
Seems like many people pay on r/mcstaff subreddit, I'll keep that in my pocket
hm
so i find people who post like that ?
This person mentioned "buildbybit" and "for devs", but I'll check it out anyways
Seems they do web development & design is well?
In the minecraft section, they do graphics too, so it wasn't just for devs
Money is being spent - "purchases", and "server icons" and stuff are being bought and sold, exactly what I'm looking for
At this point, I'll probably make an account and see if I can get something going
but let's go back to r/mcstaff
Perfect.
only 6 from this month though, so I'd keep searching
lemme go on redit rq
I started my research, almost exactly 10 minutes ago.
I found a pretty good website and a subreddit.
If I was taking this seriously, I'd spend a couple hours.
Do you understand now? Reverse engineer it. Find where the people hiring, actually look for people to hire.
And, realise that they will probably not know, so they'll ask where to find places to hire.
So, go to places where people ask questions to other people in their field.
