Hey everyone! I've been working on this project I named as Tellin, a real-time classroom feedback system designed to help introverted students express themselves more comfortably.
I'd love to get your thoughts on UI, UX, or anything else you notice. Your honest feedback would be really helpful in making it better.
The images I have attached are the dashboards during the class, one for the student and the other one for the teacher.
Every feature has been added and designed keeping in mind the needs of both the students and the teachers, according to what they wanted in this system. The main goal was to keep the system anonymous so that the students feel comfortable expressing their emotions and asking questions without the fear of being put in the spot. And also for the teachers to understand how the students feel in real-time, whether the class is moving to fast, they're enjoying it, etc. I want to encourage inclusion and a safe environment for all the students, especially the introverted ones.
This app helps them to participate in everything, from asking questions to participating in quizzes, all anonymously.
Thank you so much!

This is awesome, great work!!
It's beautiful and I greatly appreciate how this project considers the students who aren't comfortable raising their hand but may need assistance.
Great work.
I think it looks great so far and I like the concept a lot! I think having the pie chart in more vibrant colors would look better with the rest of it. Perhaps adding a light mode as well so students and teachers can switch to whatever suits them best.
oooh i love the concept as well as the different users' ui! I think for the student side, I would be confused by the many emoji reactions I can send, as there seems to be a main grid as well as more preset text choices? I think there's a lot of choices to react and could cause confusion
for further expanding
- how would you address students spamming buttons and reactions?
- how would the emoji look on the teacher's dashboard if the pie chart is less than 5%?
- how would the screen look when student is typing a question?
Noted! and I was actually planning to work on the light mode now
Thanks!
Actually I made the three different grids to separate their purpose,
the mood poll is simply just a quick emotion check in to keep the students engaged and for the teacher to know the emotional tone of the students while teaching
and the other two grids are separated as one helps the students to send specific feedback regarding the pain points to give the teacher a more actionable signal, and the other is regarding positive appreciation, which was something the teachers mentioned. Feedback is not only regarding the problems the students are facing but also the moments they appreciated.
I'll take your words into consideration and try to make it less confusing!
