#Is age necessary in Freelance?

I can't think of a single client I've ever had where I had to reveal my age

@patent light Yeah, agree with ^^, I find a lot of people say "I'm 15 and..." and things like that. Just... don't do that, whether you're 9 year old or not doesn't influence how good you are at X, other factors do. For example, literally yesterday, someone said to me "We're 16, so we're both still learning, and so we may ask for help often", but they should've just said "We start 2 months ago, so we're both still learning..."
But, I will say, I got offered 3 NDAs before I became 18+ and I was asked for my age each of those times beforehand, and... well, I needed a guardian, so they kind of had to know.
Also, I have been asked for my age, during conversations and stuff - just dodge it, give them an age range, lie (unless it may have implications in the future), or expliclty say "No", the main thing there though is just maturity. Act professional, be(come) professional, and you'll be fine.
i wish man, i feel like i wanna be honest but like aughhh

And looking at this, I think what I said earlier was the case, you must've just outright said that you were 16... it's not being honest, it's just sharing too much information which no one asked for.
Just like you don't need to tell them what colour of shirt you're wearing. Or whether you like listening to Taylor Swift. Again, what you may find you need to tell them is how much experience you have. Or perhaps, if you had a gap like "I haven't been working for X months, so I might be a little slow getting back into it".
That's all~~
age is just a number, i have seen kids in XYZ fields performing better than adults
Real
I'm 14 and I saw a lot of adults making very low quality work, also I started learning development like 1.5 year ago and design 8 months ago
currently?
Yea
by seeing your work you seemed like 21-22
