#Personal Rebrand

Hello! First off, thank you for checking out my post. I greatly appreciate it!

I'm looking for some feedback regarding my own rebrand. I specialize in branding, web design and UX. Over the last year, I begun taking on clients using my initial branding that I had created for my capstone in school and have realized my current brand style no longer represents the portrayal I'm going for.

For the change, I've dropped my full name and came up with the title "Hey, Gavin!". The concept is to portray interested parties and clients initial greeting when communicating with me. For example: "Hey, Gavin! Do you think you could.." "Hey, Gavin! We're looking for.." etc. To further the concept, I created a stylized(ish?) speech bubble to amplify that concept further.

The images I have show the logo design in a state I'm pleased with, but I'm still second guessing myself and figure I would reach out for some feedback in a community filled with creative minds!

Again, thank you so much for checking out my post. Please feel free to leave any feedback you find yourself wanting to express. I'm completely open to any and all thoughts you have.

I'd use a lighter beige

Pretty cool, i only suggest making contrast between dark blue and blue clearer

And instead of pitch black and white using a bit less contrast

Thank you both so much for the feedback! Since I've posted this, I have continued experimenting with the concept altogether. Here's the updated look so far, before making the color changes suggested.

I'll go ahead and make those color alterations as well. Thank you again!

  • the 'speech bubble' already had an exclaimation, adding the three marks on the end is like... multiplying the exclamation..

I like the speech bubble version best, it's very cute! My only suggestion is to make the beige slightly lighter for better contrast, but that's about it :)

i think i also prefer the older one, this one seems a bit too friendly for me. im ur client, not ur friend. some might appreciate that, but i personally dont like it when business partners try to pull that off.

the old one has some playfulness but i like that its not too bubbly, unless u really are that bubbly and friendly w/ ppl u meet.

i like the beige used here, but i do agree it could be ever so slightly brighter to better contrast from the blue. fantastic color scheme tho, it complements the friendly feel the design as a whole has.

i wonder if the typography of the newer one could be applied to the older design tho, but honestly i think u have a winner with these 2 designs. its more about how u wanna sell urself to ur potential clients
