BTW, you pinged me, so naturally I'll respond but - I work with UI/UX, not Fashion, so you may want to take my feedback as more akin to the inner-thoughts of 'the average person'.

From a non-design perspective real quick, reading this just made me really confused, so confused I feel the need to figure out why I was confused, and share my findings:

"british luxury, premium streetwear / smart-casual clothing brand"
How this a British-style? Maybe you're just based in the UK, I guess that makes sense, but doesn't need to be included in your intro then if it doesn't add to product. It's like saying "Hey man, let's talk on American Discord"... I'm also confused on the luxury & premium part, partly because... they both mean basically the same thing, but also because the design is honestly generic - I'm actually wearing a similar hoodie right now, it looks almost identical to this: <image-one> (which according to google is £150, except I got mine for £10 at Primark). And finally... "streetwear" and "smart-casual" shouldn't be in the same sentence. When, someone says streetwear, I think of this: <image-two>, when someone says "smart-casual", I think of this: <image-two>. Hey, maybe your brand does actually do both fits, it's just a bit mind-boggling when I see them in the same sentence lmao.

Anyways, about the design itself. I like it. But... looking at logos, which are pretty nice, I was concerned about the signature specifically for the hoodies and those concerns ended up being right. The first hoodie wasn't so bad, but the second and third ones <image-four> aren't readable at all - which is important for clothing that are expected to be wrinkled, and seen from both far and close distances. The fix to this is to just add more stroke (font-weight) to the signature itself.

#

Talking about the signature, the lack of spacing (<image-one>) between the text above and the signature is a little triggering- pretty triggering actually. Optionally, how about you move it elsewhere, say 'here' (<image-two>), that way you don't consciously relate it to the main VSE text.

The logo (<image-three>)! Maybe too small? Idk, I'd ask other people opinions on that. But the main thing I wanted to touch upon was that '2', or maybe 'a' or.. backwards? 'S'? 'c̄' Lowercase 'c' with a bar on top? (insert <image-four>) ohhh that's what it was! An 'E'! Never would've guessed,I'd say it's important to design with that rope on the hoodie in mind. And honestly, probably still wouldn't've if I didn't know the company name. Solution? I don't think it needs that gap at all, it'd look the same - heck, better, if it was just a regular 'E'.

Final thing: that 'R' trademark icon, simply doesn't need to be there. And it's slightly distracting, it's kind of like the crease on a foldable, or the bezels on old modern devices (<image-five-to-six>), I'd rather not have it there if there's no need for to be there (and companies removing the crease+bezels overtime is proof of this). There's other logos with that icon, using a relevant example, look at New Balance (<image-seven>), and now look at their hoodie (<image-eight>).

Aight, that's all that immediately shot out to me - maybe I'll take another look later, but I'm a little behind on work >.<

Hey! These designs are amazing my favorite and most eye catching one is this.

@bright whale - any chance I could get your opinion as well?

Hmmm, well, I’d say the front logo is the strongest aspect of this design, especially on the white one, specifically the second to last and also the last one. I can’t quite put my finger on it but it’s well balanced. Maybe making it big could make it more legible but there’s also a matter of personal preference, since this is meant to be more fashionable than functional.

As for the back, I think the one with the black/boldened bar in the middle is the best one. It feels balanced. I actually don’t think these designs are all that bad. However, I’ll agree with Tiger that the bottom text and signature could be hard to read. Have you considered a variant with just the signature in the back maybe?

#

You’d have to consider who these designs are tailored for and check with your intended demographic to see what they prefer.

Also just one quick question, is the spelling of Visualise and Strategise a UK thing perhaps? Just curious.

Thank you very much for your feedback!

Yes, the spelling is British, so it would be hard to appeal to an American market without changing the spelling in the future 😅

# pine musk Thank you very much for your feedback! Yes, the spelling is British, so it woul...

In reference to that, as a Brit, if your brand is too small to feasibly make separate variations of clothing for different languages, I'd suggest going for the American one - even if it's a British-based brand, as (as much as I hate to say it) it's actually pretty easy to switch from British English to American English, but I imagine it wouldn't be the same the other way round (stubborn bastards).
||Although, I might be saying that from a biased view, as a developer, as most/all languages are written in American English, so I naturally switch between, for instance; 'color' and 'colour' all the time.||

However, if your target audience are British people themselves, and you don't expect to sell to Americans, then go for the British English.

Also, I realise that now I've commented, I'm kind of obligated to respond to your request, after all you now know I've seen it, but I'm a little busy rn~

Okay, so looking at the hoodies they looked good - not much to immediately comment on (minus the signature's alignment and 'E' still being block-able by the drawstring), but it's also hard to see what changed at all, so let's go back (in order):

I think the signature is slightly more readable now (from a moderate-distance away I would be able to see something is there, but I definitely wouldn't have a clue as to what it says), hard to tell well changed though xD is it more bold? or maybe the added spacing makes it a little more visible now?
There's a bit of a gap now, above the signature (could be bigger, enough to make it consistent - imo).
I still think the VSE logo might be too small (especially 'compared' to the design on the back), but I'd ask for others opinion on that
The 'E' can still easily be blocked.
Trademark being gone, looks great - I didn't notice the trademark being gone on the first glance, but that's a good thing since the problem last time was the fact that I noticed it at all.

Can you read the new signature now? It reads 'Powered by Ambition For Success'

pine musk
# wild glen Looks great!

Tbh, the quality of the images aren't great, but I hope the font and boldness makes it more legible now...

wild glen
#

Yeah, the change of font, was a great choice

Hey @wild glen and @marsh crane, sorry for tags, but I jut have one more urgent question, please. So, we are moving onto the 3D premium brand presentation now and we have decided not to include the black box for logo, at the front of the hoodie. For the other sort of stuff, do you think we should include the black box with the trademark symbol or disregard one/both?

Thanks.
