How to arrange content?

Hi everyone, I’m working on a mobile app design for a product similar to Uber.
In this app, instead of picking just one rider at a time, the driver can pickup/droppff multiple riders (mostly children).

I want to show the driver who they would be picking and dropping off at each stop and here is the UI I have for that. But it feels a little crowded to me. Any help to find ways to reduce the clutter created by having a Chip for each rider would be really appreciated. Thanks!

what about focusing more on displaying information for the current / upcoming stop then?

So that part is handled in the Inprogress tab at the bottom. This screen is more of an overview for the driver before they embark on a route so that they are well aware of what and who to expect

i see.. like this then i would think, Home is meant more as an overview right?

Do i really need specifics like dropoff (so and so persons name here) or maybe what is important is dropoff (num of pax) // how much booster seats may be needed for this stop

Its like.. frame it this way. If I am driving to my upcoming stop, which screen shd i be expected to go to? In progress?

maybe they can press inside to view specific details. but upfront on that page, is the name(s) rlly necessary at this juncture

Or if I am misunderstanding, lemme know what exactly is the user goal at the home tab / in progress tab and maybe i may be able to help better

Yeah so let’s take an example. Assume a route starts at 8 am tomorrow. A night before, the driver can go to the home screen, click on a route (they can have multiple routes to service for the next day) and come to this screen (the one in the screenshot above).
Over here we aim to provide all the information they would need e.g. rider names, no.of booster seats etc.

still not answering my question on the user goal though.
If it is a scenario where a driver is looking at their route(s) for the next day on the home screen, how important is having a (specific name) on this screen? vs the actual places that they need to visit on their route?

I'm hinting towards progressive disclosure btw

Many ways to achieve that like use a drawer etc

I'm not an uber driver etc, so maybe my line of thinking is wrong. But to me, its just that if my goal is needing to be at a certain location at this time, isn't the information of (how many pax to pickup and dropoff) the important one, vs knowing i have to pickup John Doe at stop A, then dropoff John Doe at stop C AT THE NIGHT BEFORE doing my runs
