I've revamped my portfolio and am applying for entry level UX/UI jobs. I'd love feedback on these main things:

  1. Visual design of portfolio

  2. Strength of case studies (visual and substance of the project)

  3. Am I sending the right impressions or prioritizing the right information for hiring managers? What am I doing right, and what am I doing wrong?

@tawdry salmon I'd love to get your take, I've been seeing some great advice on this board from you recently!

@glossy siren I love your about page, I am so envy for people who do a good job talking about themselves. I am terrible. haha.

Just by looking at one case study, I love that you have information that highlights the user experience of the app/product and also it isn't too much or too little. Nice work!

To highlight what hiring managers are looking for: short answer: yes.

Longer answer is I would consider making the most important information as headlines to really capture what you did/solution/problem etc.

Also a lot of designers will just explain "the next step is user personas so I did this to solve it" explain a bit more what made you go this direction for user personas and how did the research back up your decision. (this is just an example btw)
