Hello

I’m currently working on reconstructing / updating my portfolio and so far this is what I have which are the introduction part of it. I’ve been referencing and looking at other portfolios of established freelance graphic designers the vibe with the style I really enjoy and want to have as my brand.

Let me know how I can improve or if I’m on the right track so far!

Digital typeface is quite attractive. The pink and purple gradient with the white grid is an interesting background. Yes you are defiantly on the right track with your portfolio website but there are a few things that I wanted to highlight. @pine prairie

Points for Critique:

  1. Remove the blue folder & white moon and just keep the gradient and grid

About Me Page:

  1. The information you mentioned on work experience, skills, languages can be placed on a Resume Document
  • Also include your contact info, where you live

  • Style your own wordmark using your first and last letters from your name and can be used on your website & resume

  1. About me description can be placed on the side

  2. I was thinking of creating your own avator so that the users know who you are

# pine prairie Thank you ! Originally I had this as my logo but I developed this back in colleg...

You are most welcome 😊

Thank you for sharing this!

The choice of typeface is on the fun side. There are few things that I wanted to highlight

  1. I felt that the letters look stretched so maybe styling it in the same format as graphics would look better
  2. Apply some tracking and kerning to create some breathing room between the letters
  3. The tail of letter "G" can have a smooth tail which will create some nice flow
