Hey @granite urchin

Feedback on your Portfolio Website

I would like to compliment you on your neon style font which is giving me party vibes and looks very trendy. The animation on the word "hello" is really nice.

Points for Improvement:

  1. On the About me page, it would be nice if you could start your second paragraph with "I interned at Shur Incorporate" .

  2. Remove the first part where you talk about moving into the US.

Music Project:

I like the neon lines you added under each subtitle.

  • Cut down on the information and present the best designs of your music project

  • Brief summary so that the users get an overall idea of what the project was about

#

Resume:

I like how you have broken down the information into bullet points.

  • It would be nice if you could come up with other subheading names for each section

  • Remove the Research and Design section

For the contacts:

  • Instead of showing the network globe why not replace it with your portfolio link

  • Mention the address ( Where you are living)

  • Make the tools in a bullet format to make it easier for the users to read

  • Education section: Mention the university name, major and graduation year

  • With your name why not add the initials that you used on your website and make the UX / UI designer smaller

Do let me know if you need any clarification on the feedback @granite urchin

Hi @next sigil thank you so much for the feedback!

I have a few additional questions:

Portfolio Site

  1. Is there a specific type of sections you found to be unnecessary in the music case study? (I definitely agree that it is on the long side!)

  2. Also, in your opinion, what would be the optimal length for a case study?

Resume

  1. Do you think that as a new grad I should display my education at the top (I have it on the resume, but it is under the contact information)

  2. Finally, I am not sure which initials you are referring to in the last bulletpoint.

Thanks again! This is super helpful 🙂

Glad to hear that! @granite urchin

No problem 😊

Below is my response to your questions

Portfolio Site

  1. Is there a specific type of sections you found to be unnecessary in the music case study? (I definitely agree that it is on the long side!)

Ans: I was highlighting in general that there was a lot of information so instead you can showcase some of the best designs you made for the music project.

  1. Also, in your opinion, what would be the optimal length for a case study?

Ans: Could you please clarify which case study you are referring to so that I will be able to guide you better.

Resume

  1. Do you think that as a new grad I should display my education at the top (I have it on the resume, but it is under the contact information)

Ans: I think that is a good idea to have your education at the top and the contact information can be placed next to your name.

  1. Finally, I am not sure which initials you are referring to in the last bulletpoint.

Ans: I was referring to the initial that you used on your website which is JNTHN. I have attached the screenshot of your website of the initials that I am referring to.

I like the portfolio a lot, but when i click on a project, the images are always to the left and right and the scroll down arrow in the center. I can sometimes barely see the product images because the scroll arrow has so much margin around it. As such, I feel like i need to scroll all the way down to see the finished product
