Hi guys! Glad to meet you virtually. I recently worked on my portfolio and revised my CV as well. Also for my concern about career : I have around 4 years of experience as a designer with various design fields such as branding, package, editing and UX/UI. It sounds good to be a generalist however still a bit confusing which field suits me the best. I’m not really sure what my strengths are as a designer. That’s why I need an objective perspective to review my portfolio. I’d like to know what my strengths are as a designer and in which areas I could improve further. I welcome any feedback! Thanks in advance!

Ugh, love your work and portfolio. Soooo cute and the illustrations are so fun. I terms of roles, I think at the end of the day you can pursue what you want or money. I choose money, bc it enables me to do more of what I want, outside of work. That would be UI/UX. I think you could position yourself as a UI/UX designer and potentially consider creating and selling icon kits. I think you would also be successful as a Brand and Web freelance designer. A lot of small businesses need both, and you can off ux research as an add-on. Just my opinion.

Finally, in regards to the site, I may reconsider the pink background. It's pretty loud, maybe something that doesn't compete so much with your thumbnails. There's a light grey you use in case studies that might be good.

Hi! Absolutely love your portfolio and the work you do, it's truly amazing and inspiring. I agree with the statement above as well, you have a little bit of everything and can 100% be successful in either path. The way you display your process and how the work was executed is really good!

You have strong UI/UX skills but also grasp graphic design skills when it comes to logo designs and the illustrations you develop. I feel that you'd somehow lean more towards UI/UX with your application development but also plentiful website designs you've created

Home Page:
I agree the pink is pretty loud and maybe a softer color, like a seashell gray or something that doesn't clash but goes well with the thumbnails. I think the background takes away from the projects a little bit because it is the brightest item on the page and feels like the main focal point.

I would try to center the "Find Me On" Link below it

It's really cute and nice, I love the little icons you created to display which Creative Cloud applications you're familiar with!

Other than that I love and adore your portfolio it came out really nice, and I love the work you do!

One last thing I just noticed is to title the browser pages

Oh my god thank you so much! Tbh I have been a bit disappointed by myself and being a bit doubtful about my design works too. Didn't expect this positive feedback. As you mentioned I'm also struggling with making decison between money or what I want. Just remaining as a designer is what I want now. Probably should develop a bit and being a better designer would be the best solution! Thank you again and have a great day!

I agree with others. Your portfolio looks really lovely.

Not too many critiques but I’d say allign the description in the case studies to the left rather than centred.

Your logo looks really low res especially when I zoom in

I disagree with the others, I quite like the pink! (Maybe I’m partially biased because my portfolio is VERY pink 😉 lol)
