Client has seen a few concepts but is liking this dynamic approach a lot. Image is just a sketch and not polished at all but I struggle a lot with perspectives like these (client did not like the geometric approach)

Any ideas on how I should approach this? I feel like the way I'm doing it right now is flawed but I can't pinpoint. Maybe I'm messing up the perspective?

older concepts

I think this is what I'm gonna be going with. Any feedback? I def need some refinements I think

Personally, although I think the blocky version is cool, the curved one more clearly demonstrates that it's supposed to be a cuttlefish. If you showed me the blocky version without context to the name, I might not have understood what I was looking at. Maybe that doesn't matter, though!

#

But overall, it's a really cool and creative design. 🙂

#

Side note, if the blocky one was animated and pulsing, it might be a different story, imo

Their clients are mostly raves and electronic music festivals so I thought the blocky one was more fitting

#

Or would you think otherwise?

But hey others might have more feedback to give too. 🙂

The blocky one looks more like a hermit crab if i had to guess

I like the curvy one a lot better, and it still reads "cool company" to me. If I had to make any suggestions for the curvy one, itd be to see what it looks like without the volume/audio lines going outside the shape. It almost makes the body (without tentacles and mouth-ish area) look 3d and in the foreground, while the mouth and tentacle things are background

So, without didn’t really work out. It really took away the personality of the logo

#

A highlight actually made this a bit nicer

#

But the project is already finalised now. The client was very happy

Looks amazing as the final product! The eye shape also makes it look like it's happy, which is super cute
