I'm working with a client who wants to build a product for soccer players who don't always have a team to play with or a place to play at. So we're trying to streamline the match booking process for individual players. This is a partial screenshot of their dashboard - its mobile first website.
I would really like to know what are your first impressions of it and what are some obvious improvements that I should keep in mind during the redesign!
Thank you so much 🙂

Well, this is my personal opinion, but when I read your briefing the first thing I thought was gamification, or some sort of playful football illustrations to make it more pleasant to look at and more enjoyable to interact with!

Second thought is that are too many options. If the main action you want your user to take it to join a team or two join a match that should be distinguishable with a primary CTA.

Not sure if the text in white over the green it’s gonna pass a contrast check mainly because of the description in light or regular weight. Also, the section of how it works has too much emphasis for some thing that should be secondary you know.?

When you do redesign it, keep in mind to build some thing, more hierarchically, so the user will know what the main action is.

If this is a mobile first website may be considered to have fewer columns, and make that I icons igger so it can be easier to read each one of the categories?

There’s so much stuff going on on that website that I cannot think of anything else but if I do, I’ll text here
