Hi everyone, my ESP32-S3 is finally working and recognized, but now the program crashes with errors when I start the FireRed "Gift Reset" script.

My setup: > * Video source is 1080p

Resolution is set to 100% in the settings

My game is in French (Switch NSO)

Can you use the screenshot button in the program itself to grab what it sees?

When I get the error message, I can't use the screenshot button.

the sent screenshot for selection menu passes on latest (after all the fixes). a few questions:

  1. do you get the same error message every time? or does it swap between the two errors in your initial message?
  2. has Button Mode been set to Help in game settings and the game saved afterward?
  3. if #1 applies, can you send a screenshot similar to the one I've attached? I'm specifically looking for the red arrow.

There's a bunch of these in the error reports to look at as well. But I can push a new beta tonight to see how much your latest change fixes.

hmmmmmm odd, I have the same issue but I the only thing difference I did was swtiching from an OLED Switch to an Non-OLED Switch. Switch the back the OLED Switch and now it' s not working. Tired rebooting the ESP32-S3 and got it to work for a bit then it error out. Any suggestion?

  1. The error depends on exactly when I click "Start Program".
If I start the program while standing right in front of the Pokéball (in the overworld), I get the first error (No recognized state after 10 seconds).
If I manually advance to the Pokémon selection screen and start the program from there, nothing happens
  2. Yes! I followed all the recommendations in the game options: Text Speed is set to Fast, Button Mode is set to "Help" ("Aide" in French), the Window Frame is set to Type 1, and I saved the game right in front of the Pokéball.
  3. I've attached the screenshot you asked for showing the red arrow in the French text box!

are all other controllers disconnected from the grip menu? the red arrow screenshot passes both the old and the fixed detectors

can you move around in-game using the keyboard?

in switch home, go to controllers -> change grip/order
click on the program screen, and then press enter
then use the keyboard to navigate back to the game

program runs fine now?

faint gull

i add the pink controler and the keyboard works

nocturne mango

controller #1 is the esp32-s3/keyboard
controller #2 is a different controller, connected via usb as well?

faint gull
#

the first controler is the pro controler and the pink i think is the esp32-s3

nocturne mango
#

disconnect the pro controller, don't touch it at all
reconnect the esp32-s3

#

then use keyboard/the esp32-s3 to enter the game and try moving around using the keyboard

faint gull

because it's not the primary controller

#

when you start a game, only the first controller will work

the program runs. Thanks !!!
