[PLZA] Bench Sit Spot Not Viable?

I don't think this spot is viable for farming via Bench Sit. A Battle Zone appears at the benches occasionally.

Did the battle zone appear after you started the program or did it appear before you wanted to start the program?

Oh wait, do battle zones not spawn in places you're currently in?

I’ve never encountered a battle zone spawned in my place throughout my playthrough

You can try running the bench program start at day time at that bench to see if it works

I'm actually going to try a different spot that I know also has Absol that's not listed on the doc. It's also a spot where a battle zone is available to spawn, so I'll try that.

I'm 50 cycles into the originally mentioned bench and the zone has spawned below me / across the street, but never on top of me yet. I'll leave it running for a while longer but it's feeling like it won't spawn on you.

OK, had it run for 400 cycles, this spot is safe for bench resetting. Has a couple of Pokemon around, but the only two I think that might trigger the shiny sound is the Abra and Eevee.
