Unfortunately the guide links to an unofficial non arduino board. So I'm looking for official Leonardo boards and found this. Would this work? And can the guide people fix the link to the knockoff? Thanks.

the jumper cables you need depends on what UART you are getting

and yes that's for computer controlled (CC) programs, you can refer to #terminology so you're aligned on common terms used in the server

for microcontroller only (MC) yes you only need the microcontroller and a way to connect it to the switch as outlined in the guide
