personally the split playerbase argument fails for me when your active playerbase is averaging under 50 players, getting close to single digits at some parts of the day; if anything the playerbase would increase if more modes like this were added, it would pull in people that dont always want to do reg mode in and if they feel they want more they could switch over to reg mode, at the very least it's stupid to argue anymore about splitting the playerbase imo when the current state of game has hurt the player count more than anything

them updating the game in anyway would help the game out more than the current nothing, at least with a pve mode people could always get matches and get them as fast as they want, if a pve mode would kill the current reg mode then the reg mode isnt good enough as is and needs more work too

Some casuals would finally get to get to the end of zth then they'd leave. It wouldn't fix anything about the game or it's issues and would require a lot of dev time to even work on. It's really not worth it so y'all can feel good about shooting enemies that don't fight back.

It would be worth it for those that don't want to pvp all the time, and again as is the game isn't exactly doing well in that regard, if it had a pve mode I'd be willing to play more than nothing at all and im sure others would like it too, game needs more of everything added to it and a separate mode that always works for all regions feels like a good investment. again current playerbase is basically dead anyway so i see no issues with them doing something so that people can play always. if you dont like it then you wouldn't have to touch it, regardless it's not like this'll even ever happen, not like the devs ever showed much care for any systems yet and they dont care about the current playerbase anyway

I feel it would be worth it to me to give me a million bucks. It's not worth it to anyone else. It wouldn't be worth the time the devs invest for the games health overall. Thats what I don't think you understand. The devs would need to put time and resources into a project like that. Which would have no meaningful return to them. They aren't selling skins or cosmetics that casual single player larper would buy. The game isn't structured for single player at all. In terms of gameplay, rewards or incentives.. what you want is an entirely different game.

me and others would like a pve mode and you wouldn't, it would be worth it to people that want it and it would and can be mostly the same game just without other players, tarkov did it so i dont see why marauders couldn't do that one day too. if the game doesnt work as a single player game as is then thats probably one reason why the game is failing. a pvpve game isnt worth playing if the pve part isn't good at all. also funny you think they would never sell skins considering they mentioned before about the game being a live service game post release, they will have to sell something post release if they want to keep developing it

Bud, if you're too dense to understand the difference between the development time being worth it for the devs or for a small handful of players I really have nothing to say to you. I also never said they'd never sell skins, I said they'd need to rework the game in its entirety to even begin to have people stick to PvE. Otherwise you have under 30 hours of content if even that. It's not worth the time they would need to sink in at this moment if even ever.

would you prefer people then not ask for a pve mode till the game is finished? they need to rework most the game anyway as is else it will fail, current rewards, quests, prestige and z2h and such just suck. not to mention the ai as is isnt great either, they need to rework the pve part of this game if they want people to play it long term regardless, the game isnt a pvp game it's a pvpve game, as is the pvp isnt great and the pve is worse and if anything working on a pve mode and making it worth it would then also make the overall game better since it would improve the pve part of the pvpve mode at the same time

Dregon is right. Really I was being sarcastic about it cuz people asking for a pve mode lol . But yes technically you can use a vpn to hop servers and que up at the same time to start a match.

Tarkov did a PVE mode, and its population increased in PVP after a bit. It also brought back a lot of old players that didn't like getting domed by Chads immediately and they have stuck around for several wipes. Bottom line I believe a PVE mode would work and It really wouldn't be that hard to code it in I wouldn't think (I'm not a game developer so I don't actually know but I would think it would be very close to the current PvPvE model that's already running).

To me this online multiplayer pve mode is a failed experiment. Killing bosses is a pain with others around. Fix that. And maybe introduce forced missions you have to do in a group to validate online multiplayer pve

I know PVE would help a lot to regain more playerbase but on the other hand, It will be a major disaster since there is a lot to fix in this game. Once the game is fully furnish then I think it is safe to release a PVE, but still PVE is not yet on the plan.

I would love to see a Coop/Pve mode, I always enjoyed marauders but as a solo player usually it was hard to overcome groups or people who play alot and make any progress. Even with issues that exist it would still be a general fun and still be potentially challenging for the area bosses. Even having the option to just play against friends on their own maps would be a solid time.

Hey, do you have any information about getting bots imitating players in the game? A while ago we destroyed a small ship that was not a Cruiser, and there were a lot of well-equipped bots on board.
This is not the first time this has happened. There is something wrong with these bots. Sometimes I fight someone who looks like a player, randomly dressed in whatever he could find. But it behaves bizarrely and speaks with voice bindings.

There are AI controlled ships in the game and there have been for years.
You can disable AI controlled ships if you shoot them enough times just like you can with player ships. AI will not repair their ships. You can board these ships the same way you can board player ships whether or not they have been disabled.
Some matches will have AI scout ships or AI interceptors crewed by AI Raiders and AI Raider Bosses. Some of their loadouts could be considered well-equipped. There is also a red strike frigate that is shaped like a flying wing that is crewed by the Red Baron AI boss.
Many of the bots in this game could look exactly like players as players have access to various cosmetic pressure suits and masks that can be worn by the AI, and can get their hands on all of the gear that bots can use. There area large number of Raider bot variants, about 28 of them, and 5 Raider Boss variants. Some players even like to dress like bots from time to time. 🙂 The bots will often use the voice binds that the players can use.
All of this is perfectly normal and has been this way for a long time.
