Airlocks
lack of being able to close your own airlock so you can get camped in it is still a major one, the airlock camping, loud af noise and staggered raid entry is a big downfall as it stands currently.

Progression system
Progression system really isn't there yet, still not enough in place to keep people on long term.
ZtH is linear and ideally would be better with forked progression for each of the factions.
Maxing out traders can be done quick and they do not offer a lot at all. Pretty much every update has seen something getting removed from the stores.

Ship Customisation
Ship customisation an arguable extremely unique mechanic was completely scrapped with no word on it being re-added any time soon.

Weapon Customisation
Weapon customisation is still a pain in the ass because none of it is available in the stores bar some attachments for low tier weaponry.
Every single blueprint is locked in a vault / depot aswell. Could easily add some lower tier blueprints to the loot pool outside of them, hell even load some on the AI.

Stash
Please implement a Ctrl+Click from stash to the player gear, it only operates one way round at the moment,
such a small change that would save a ton of down time.

Loot tables

  • AI drop nothing of value / use
  • Weapon CRATES tend to hold a singular customisation item for some reason
  • Stash size is cramped meaning you can hold around two spare armor pieces at most, the amount of times I've got a crate and had to pretty much insta sell the whole thing is insane.

Solo / Group Play
Game is heavily geared towards guilds / groups with no system to reliable pair solos together to compete like there is in ABI and Hunt so you're not tapping into that market either currently.

Guild Hideout
Not seen this get used at all, would be far better implemented as a money and reputation sink for upgrading solo.
Places to showcase your gear / weapons / test in the shooting range etc.

Lack of information
Ton of elements have literally zero explanation inside the game currently, having to utilise the wiki just to find out without stumbling across things.
(Boss spawn mechanics, In-raid quest locations)
Complete lack of maps for locations also does not aid this.

The only thing I don't agree with is Solo / Group play
I myself am a solo player and I love all the struggles that come with it. Besides there are already systems in place to avoid solo / group confrontation like main POIs for squads and side POIs for solos. There's also Raider mode which acts like a solo lobby. If devs ever released solo queue the playerbase would be split into 2 which it can't afford with the current player count.

well from the sounds of it, they don't want to put the work into ships, probably because there needs to be a lot more added to ships in order to make it worthwhile so it's still the same old rustbucket loop, this won't change without a reason/incentive to bring something better and get some ship combat engagement which can be a lot of fun, especially with breaching

speaking of, breach gameplay is non-existent right now, only seems to happen with the occasional bored players as there isn't any reward for the risk, I'll make a thread for something that might work
