Em2 iron sight one looks amazing.
It all looks dope tbh
Taped mags might be crazy on an em2 though ngl
Added Bergen Re-Design
Added Annihilator Mask WIP
I like it a lot! Appreciate your work, sir!
I was pogging looking at those awesome cosmetics, then It became pure horror when i saw attachments on the already deadly enough STG-44, other than that, the rest would look so good ingame
STG would probably be nerfed before it gets attachments like the Krasa.
I would rather keep a no attachment stg
Would make more sense to buff weapons that dont get much usage (em2, grease gun, viper)
STG doesn’t really need anything tbh. Has a great iron sight and performs well and is pretty balanced.
yeah
nothing wrong with options
Added Annihilator Mask finished turntable
Its not about need, its about satisfying the inner loot goblin 😈
Leaving these here before I sign off;
Fan made compilation of Marauders Trailers.
Track Used;
Alcest - Sapphire
guessing you've worked on videogames before?
dude, they should hire you... looks great .. @honest junco did you see that?
Nope, haven't worked on any video games before, I'm completely self taught, got a lot of experience while learning the entire pipeline from Blender to Unreal Engine for proper game implementation.
Haven't had the opportunity to work as part of a game development team yet, hopefully one day though
I want them all! give plz
sheesh noice

Navigation Device concept
Cool looking thing but what would a Bioshock compass do in space?
would this be an item u can equip or just a thing everybody will have?
Still working on a map document to be held in the right hand with north, south, east and west labelled on it aswell as locations for callouts in raid
Idea is to use the compass to give callouts to squad mates & use for navigation with the map so you can navigate back to your dock location / pods / a specific map POI
Ideally something that's on the player by default, so everyone has the ability to utilise it
could point towards your airlock or the escape pods maybe
Casing for the map could definitely do with a better / more cohesive design, rushed it a fair amount but the concept's there.
Text on the map is a little difficult to read, so could probably couple it up with a right click to bring it into a more zoomed view that you can pan around.
Credit to @thick phoenix for the map layout; https://maps.thepi.dev/# just re-coloured and made a few adjustments
I had an idea for a space compass a while ago, https://discord.com/channels/695304399303606395/1156017412441899048 . I'm still of the opinion some rudementary tools with a lil learning curve and interesting potential counterplay if enemies steal your shit would be neat. Though, a basic compass with a north per map would also probably help new players much more so, even if needing suspension of disbelief for it to work in space. I'm sure someone could cobble together a way it works with docking systems.
I see the "compass wouldn't work in space" thing quite a bit and got pretty interested to see if it was possible, so I did some digging and I think it would be perfectly viable for a compass to be an effective navigation tool, I'll explain below.
POI's would have to generate their own magnetic field, could easily be explained through a central, high temperature, super conducting metal core system on each POI. That can then be explained away as a by-product of power generation for the POI, similar to Earths core consisting of solid and liquid metal that spins to generate a magnetic field around the POI.
By doing this you would be able to use the compass on the POI allowing you to navigate North, East, West and South as long as the field generated encapsulates the POI as a whole.
Now as for functionality in space, working off each POI generating a magnetic field, a compass needle will naturally pull towards each POI depending on the strength of the magnetic force reaching it.
So if Navy Outpost and Space Port are on the same map, your compass would naturally point towards whatever POI you are closest to.
Therefore it would allow you to use it to navigate effectively in space aswell as in a POI.
So your explanation for why compasses work in space is artificial gravity?
It's purely a magnetic field so it wouldn't generate any gravity, artificial or otherwise
But considering we're not floating around POIs I'm going to assume there's some kind of artificial gravitational system in place
I could do some more digging and see how that would be possible aswell
Bro how have i never seen this shit, this looks incredible
maybe an axis measuring device? there is already something of the sort in the space section on the bottom left
i’m not a physics guy or anything, but maybe it could be possible to explain the magnetic field as a by-product for whatever produces the artificial gravity
also, it might be cool to have the compass point to the center of the map or wherever the artificial gravity/magnetic field is “generated”
that might make it more interesting to navigate, and not as simple as north south east and west
p.s. all of your work is cool af
Quick concept for a security bot, around the same height as a Marauder
Probably not in theme for the game but would be cool to see some unique variations in enemies, drew some inspo from the panzer armour
If it was slightly more diesel punk it would probably fit in really nice IMO, but that thing too damn clean and sleek
I think specifically the gun housing are too sci-fi with the back vents. Maybe make them more like recoiless rifles or have a more open bolt and ejection port?
DUDE ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?? DUDE WTF .. THIS IS AMAZING WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT
I would make it more rusty and not that clean cuz it is old times .. more wires/bigger engine and not circle eye .. it will be sure like a tv
Needs a big diesel engine on it
Some exhaust pipes and shit
I could model it as being exposed, it's got two fuel tanks on the back which route into the central section where the engine would be located, the exhausts start on the front and route round the sides but they're covered with caps atm.
Could do an alternative version with an exposed engine though using the diesel engine in-game item as a base, would look pretty dope
There's a few things missing on it like linking between the bullets and a proper ejection port for the main guns aswell, I was just speeding through it though to get it put together, managed to completely model it within a day.
Could go back into at some point but it's more a proof of concept atm rather than a game ready asset
Make the head an engine lol
Is that a new armor or just your previous Armor WIP in its finished form?
New armor completely from scratch, Headgear is the same as previous though
And will you finish the other armor or is it finished even though it's marked as work in progress?
KA Firestarter Armor, fully mapped and game ready, 17.6k tris
Went the extra bit with the multi-res this time round, makes a decent amount of difference
why is it green instead of light blue?
I forgot the KA used light blue in their ships- That would be a great touch tbh
Green is fine too. BA Flak Vest is also green and the SAS attire for the most too.
Question is is it an armor for the Royal Navy or the British Army?
nah why would u make it green blue is for KA green for UA red/black CE
$
Because the SAS is nearly all wearing green too. That's why I asked for whom it was designed for. If it is the K.A. Navy blue makes more sense but if it's intended for the SAS blue wouldn't fit in in their color palette.
yeah but its not even gonna get added fs
and how much of ur time do u spend on this dc XDDD
I got a good amount of time to spare for the things I like.
yeah ok

All Green / wearing Green, Blue / Black is for the Royal Air Force / Navy
How did you even end up with the name firestarter and are those fuel canisters for the flamethrower on the back?
Yeah they're fuel canisters, these are the references I was using, decided to add them while I was working on the back and chose the name from it
make it yellow plz
Love it!
he's back!
@terse hollow Very very very nice concept 👌👌👌👌👌 The backpacks look very good too. And weapon reddots and stuff would be nice to add
