Yeah, it used to require only one nuclear material but I guess they thought that was too easy so they raised it to 3. Maybe they should consider dropping it down to 1 or 2 instead of 3. That would make it a bit easier, but it's a mission that's completely based on loot RNG. You might be able to gather 3 of these in your first few matches, or you might not find any for several months.

If you're struggling with this one make sure you're hitting secret stashes, and try to focus on searching the static corpses that are in each match to find tokens so you can get into Depots. They have the highest chance to spawn Nuclear Material and have multiple containers that can spawn them. Even though they are rare you can find more than one in a single depot, or in a single match.

they updated them to spawn loose (like on a table) in a depot and they spawn more often now in depots, as well as they can be market trades now so hopefully they wont be too rare to get now for this quest

was originally just 1 you needed and had a higher chance to get the materials, then they reduced the drop chance and increased the amount needed to 3, and now they kept it at 3 but upped the drop chance from depots and that new market trade yeah

The game solution is to get in a raid and find it or get it from the Market Trade. I was just offering additional options.

i found one after the patch, prestiged, and found 2 more

2 of em were from depots, it seems like they did up depot spawns a good bit, just make sure to hit up the bodies in places like merchant ship or navy base I'd say
