#Jump Gate Delay Impact on Player Base

What is motivating this suggestion:

Devs please reconsider the jump gate spawning delay. Most if not all new players will be solo and having to wait 5-10+ minutes to get into a match only to then get Colony Cruiser 7 out of 10 matches sucks. At least now we can nope out and que up again. Now on top of the que time you want us solo players to have to wait even longer to extract and try to get another map? This is going to kill what's left of the player base you have left.

What is your proposal:

Don't add the delay of jump gate spawning

Let's see how it plays out don't know yet how they rebalance the maps spawn.

They say you can activate it from inside a POI. So this just make every game a little dangerous so you don't just come in and go. You actually have to get inside like everybody else.

The matchmaking kinda wants a certain amount of player running their objectives given a the same time so if everybody just quit, there's no such encounters happening.

They said they are gonna change some things in Zero to Hero, which can actually change how this will play out.

i like the idea of changing z2h so people wont just leave cause they dont have their objective up, but they're reducing that and not eliminating it, so at times you may just want to leave

so if it ends up just being a game of flying around for several minutes for the gate to open cause you don't wanna risk dying on maps you dont need, that'll suck

Another thing is that this jump gate delay impacts is trading. Currently the ONLY way to trade in the game is via joining a raid. So now if I'm trying to help a new player out and want to give him gear, especially armor with pockets, we're F'd because now I'm armorless or have to pack a 2nd non pocket armor as well as the having to wat however long to dip out so we can run a real raid where everyone has gear.

It's not like it's that hard to get gear in the game, the one not completely geared up will be in just a few minutes of raid if you just play the game as intended.

RMT = real money trades. Its a known issue with Tarkov and can quickly grow in this game too.
This is a coop game indeed but its also a game designed around earning your loot. Having a friend bring in everything for you doesn't seem like the goal they want. I think you can very much still drop and trade things like if a friend died last raid and you grab their weapon and heals. While being in your ship at the start of the raid, you can drop it quickly. You never needed the jump gate for that. If you are using the raid to ONLY trade, that's where the issue lies more.

Its not hard to drop everything at the start in the ship, one person flies while the other picks their stuff up.
