Marauders has lots of cool ideas the coolest by far is the beginning and ending escaping and breaching in your ship, however in my opinion there are some things holding it back from reaching its full potential and have me speeding towards the nearest instance despite how fun I find the idea

increase the density of cover in the space instances and alter the momentum and speed of ships to facilitate a more engaging experience. add content to reward ship battles that doesn't necessitate abandoning your ship as right now a solo player has no way of looting their kills without risking leaving their ship undefended.

Increase the base speed of all ships and also give them more tangible momentum. significantly Increase the amount of asteroids and destroyed vessels by a to give more cover for people and encourage interesting dogfights. (I'd also love the asteroid to move slightly through relative space in order to increase the piloting difficulty and make cool emergent gameplay opportunities.) and add either damage or some other form of penalty for colliding with terrain or other ships to reward good piloting. Add the ability to salvage materials from destroyed ships to reward winning the fights without having to abandon your ship to loot their items.
without a doubt marauders is the most fun looter shooter extraction type game I've ever experienced. You've made something really special already and I can't believe it's an early access title. (:
