Well isn't the problem that people use discord for teams instead of ingame communications? Why not just set the anti-cheat to ban all voicecom applications

There is a system in hunt, where you can see the position of who killed you only after all of your teammates are dead

because the devs expect people to use discord, to the point where they said there isnt a spectate mode right now cause you can just use discord for that anyway

also they cant ban you from voice apps, that'd be insane, not to mention basically impossible as people could just have discord up on their phones, also if a game monitored my pc for discord use, I'd uninstall that malware of a game

if anything I think it'd be fine to let you spectate others after your team is all dead, that or have a killcam that shows for you once the whole team is dead

I have played with about 45 people now (1300+ hours), and people too often say "fucking cheater", when they don't know where they are killed from. I think a killcam would help this game get a tonnes of less bad "cheater" reviews...

true, at first I was afraid of buying this game because every other recent review was talking about how ratt pack is a clan of cheaters, when they are just good players

Maybe you don't know this, but EAC which marauders uses is more of an "anti virus" then anti cheat, as it does scan your entire computer.

Nah the real hackers are the ones who two tap headshot you across the map with a heavy recoil single shot gun instantly. Never died to a RATTPACK person who did that.

Oh and since maybe you don't know this, it's extremely easy to write a bit of code that calls a windows API function that will give you the WID and name of every window / process running on the computer. Anyone can do this in any program they want.

it's crazy to think they would dare ban discord usage, would they ban twitch too since people could stream their games to their friends that way? what if me and my friends just call each other on our phones or us a discord mobile app and not have discord on our pc??

dude we're using discord right now for all of this lol, the thought they would ban discord is silly and cant be taken seriously
