💡 What is motivating this suggestion?
There are many weapons in the game with wire stocks, and it would be nice to have wood stock attachments for all of them. This would decrease recoil and it just looks better in my opinion. It would be nice if they were all craftable as well.

💡 What is your proposal?
Introduce the Wood Stock Attachment for the weapons listed below. This is a complete list based on the current weapons in game and I have included pictures for reference.

MP40 - Wood Stock
VZ61 - Wood Stock
PPSH - Wood Stock
M1 Carbine - Wood Stock
MAT-49 - Wood Stock
Sten - Wood Stock

Note: There is no wood stock for the Mac-10 and M-45 so I have left them off this list.

💡 Exactly and specifically, what should be changed and how?
Please add a Wood Stock Attachment for each of the Weapons listed above.

I think they will get to these eventually, though the MP-40 I don't think had a wood stock. There was an MP-28 which had a wood stock, and I think there was a variant of the MP-40 with a wood stock, but I 'think' by and large the MP-40 was a folding metal stock

in fact, I think the image you posted of the mp40 with a wood stock is actually an mp41

You are correct regarding the MP41, however I'm not sure if it should be added as a separate weapon. I was thinking it would fit with the current game mechanics to "create" an MP41 by adding a Wood Stock attachment to the current MP40. The same thing could be said for each of these weapons, technically they are different models based on the same platform. What are your thoughts?

It wouldn't bother me personally. more variety is better. I think the m1 carbine is already in the game, though its called the m1a1 para. They could just add a separate one as the m1 carbine, though interestingly it uses 32 acp in the game. I suppose they could just do what they do with every gun and have the m1 carbine drop as a stockless gun and have two attachments, a wire stock and a wood stock

#

Perhaps make the wire stocks easier to make, and the wood ones require that 'toolkit'

Never understood the wood stocks. How much wood do you find floating the space?

Well based on the fact we are using weapons from WW2 and early Cold War, wood stocks are very prevalent in many of the weapon designs. Additionally, there are many wood crates, containers, and pallets scattered around the stations so one can safely assume there is a good amount of wood material available to use.
