buddy i suggest learning the maps as best as you can and then absolutely bumrushing your objective without distractions. If you think blowtorches are rare than that also suggests your map/loot knowledge needs a bit of work. Try the vanguard-lfg channel and get someone to show you where the stashes are

To help with finding blowtorches, they are relatively frequently in the locked yellow-lidded containers that you'll find a couple of around every map.
Asteroid mine has one in a room across from the security office for example.

Oh no kidding. I assumed prison had them somewhere. Prison does have that maintenance area that has similar loot but probably not the blowtorches as much.

yeah the maintenance tunnels each got like 3 toolboxes but not as high a chance of torches as the yellow rims
point stands tho, can crack open the yellow rims and they have a chance of even 2-3 torches

I like the locked rooms, locked containers, vaults, depots, and stashes. I think it's really cool how they each have kind of different types of loot rather than just being a linear progression of "better."
