The whole point of this game is loot, shoot and try not to die, the consequences of dying while well geared for the average player is a major blow. Creating a market gets rid of the main gameplay loop. If you can buy anything you want, you are eliminating the whole thrill of finally finding a level 10 armour piece or god gun, and trying to make it back to extract. If you could just buy that piece off the market by running easy common loot locations repeatedly, then extracting, it gets boring for everyone real quick. Some of the main reasons i don't like the idea of a player market are:
The majority of whales are easily now running around permanently in high level gear, restocking is just dipping into their purses every now and again to continue the seal clubbing march. This could scare newer players off if every vet they meet is almost guaranteed to always be set up in their optimum playstyle builds.
Any new things implemented are less impactful on pvp if you can just buy the rare new thing, then you dont need to compete with everyone else looking for it. You can just wait for it to appear on Marauderzon
The limited inventory is now just a gimmick with no real reason to be if you can buy and equip all the gear you need after a wipe everytime. You dont need to hoard any ammo or gear now because the best of what you want is right there.
