Hii !! My name's Théa, i'm a french singer who was singing in my highschool band. Few days ago, i completely got replaced, that hurted me a lot because i knew it was gonna happen. It really killed my joy to sing and it feels uneasy to sing in public again. I plan to go back on youtube to post covers as soon as i'll fell comfortable with my voice again. Do you have some tips or advice i could use to grow back my confidence ?

Ive been in your position before, i went from lead singer of a band to getting replaced by someone without even getting told i was getting replaced
But i still managed to sing infront of a crowd of 300 people for a talent show. and the way i did that was just singing to my closest friends
the people you love are your best form of support. and if you keep on singing to them, slowly open up on how many people you sing to and eventually your gonna be so confident you wanna sing mid conversation
Yeah it's kind of the same for me, they didn't told me anything but the way they act really shows it
300 persons is a lot tho, i hope you won the talent show !!
I will try this, i usually "sing" some parts of songs at home or to my boyfriend (who was the pianist of this band), i'll try to sing to my friends ig
Yea the whole point is to take small steps, confidence isnt something that comes after doing something one time. it takes a while but its totally worth the work once u finally do it
