If you're truly trying to architect something for a real product, I would increase your payment considerably. Paying $30 for this level of detail is frankly insulting. You're paying someone $3/hr for this assignment that could very well be an extremely important system architecture document.
I assume your payment will come after the document submission, correct? So what happens if you have multiple people working on this and then they submit something to you? Does only one person get paid while the others essentially provided free labor?
