Hey, in the latest version, vehicles can be driven without problems in 1.21.4.

I'm not sure what issue you are talking about, the only one that comes to mind was different handling of movement on Bedrock in newer versions – meaning Geyser users could not properly drive. This issue has not be addressed yet, but is more or less a Geyser issue than an MTV one.
