i did that because i looked at ur previous messages and it didnt do anything
could u send like a video tutorial maybe? but im pretty sure i did it right
i right clicked loader and pressed "disable script" and then right clicked legacy loader and pressed "enable script"
i saved but didnt publish

If it's not working in-game do you have any errors in your F9 console on the client or server

I'll look into this and see if I can find out why Roblox isn't loading the templates, the server side should still work for the legacy admin

just to confirm, is the "MainModule" the KA equivalent of the "MainModuleKAI" or are both needed to run?
one is for the new admin fallback, one is for the legacy loader fallback
I'm also unable to get KAI to work, it fails to download the asset

I copy-pasted my settings script and deleted the real legacy settings to clarify though, I didn't check if anything was different, is that the problem?

why did they do that? Do you mean that they changed how you call modules or did they content delete it for some arbitrary reason?
Just can't "take" the originaly MainModule which is needed for requires to work properly
I'm using the new legacy scripts, still nothing
They silently disabled it and it won't re-enable
no join message, no command bar nor chat command functionality
seems like they've done something else if your fix is not working

I ported my settings over to the new legacy_settings file, it still does not work
Just trying to determine the issue, I think my fix for the legacy loader might not be the best so I'll work on that right now
yeah the fix definitely doesn't work, but very strange how its not throwing any errors
I think the client is failing to load due to the difference in timing from requiring the asset remotely vs requiring it directly under the model, I'll see if I can find a fix soon, thanks for reporting 🙂

Do you have any warnings from the new legacy_loader?
I see that on my end the client fails to load but the server-side still works, I'll try to push a fix ASAP if this is also the case for you.
absolutely nothing from any of the scripts in the output I'm afraid, neither client or server side

workspace is fine
does it need to be top level or is it fine being nested?

For the new fallback automatic updates make sure you have the Kohl's Admin model in your inventory and it should work.
I recommend getting the new loader, your old settings/custom commands should work
New loader also has a manual updating fallback in case roblox decides to kill loadasset as well

A lot of old games that relied on that module are dead until developers manually update the loader 😭

(and don't get me started on the push of the new chat despite its abominable performance and how it will make communicating in said legacy games impossible)
roblox is giving me so much pain rn
it really hurts to see a platform with such a big positive to shoot itself in the foot.
free and unlimited multiplayer servers AND datastores? few other services provide that AND the engine and a physics and social engine in one zero-setup package. Roblox could be so much bigger than they are if they actually sorted out their development and communication with developers, their Quality Assurance is the worst part if anything else (pushing out beta features that some intern likely programmed is just ridiculous).
