#Please combine the functionality of :unban and :unbanid into :unban for parity with :ban

The :ban command supports both strings and userids in the same command without any change in the syntax. However, the method of unbanning users with their username and with their userid has this functionality split between two commands, :unban and :unbanid.

The separation of unbanning users with a string and with an id between :unban and :unbanid is confusing and makes it more difficult for admins to unban users, especially when the :ban command supports usernames and userids in one command.

  • Please merge the functionality of :unbanid into :unban to streamline unbanning users for admins, and to provide parity with its counterpart command (:ban)

Mind you player prefixes are currently a WIP, and this is an update for the new admin.

#

They are merged into the duration argument type for the new ban command.

that's very convenient!

#

how would one do a permanent ban then?

0 is session, default option like the original ban command, -1 is permanent, with a simple time suggestions to set a duration like 1wk, hr, etc

that's very useful, although are the duration suffixes two letters now, or are they still single letters as in the original admin?

Durations are any prefix of the simple english duration nomenclature along with prefixes.

ms, m for min, wk, yr, hr, s, mo, etc
