It seems I have become obsessed with using my CNC machine to mark art pieces. This time around I took NASA satellite data to create abstract contour plots of places in Ireland. Really proud of this one!

You may have covered it in the video and I missed it, but have you considered routing out each layer separately and stacking them? Build a sort of 3D mountaintop in layers? You could probably get some really close alignment since you have the ability to carve each layer's boundaries in the layer below it
