Making a website https with a subdomain name

Hi ! I'm trying to get a subdomain name and getting the https:// certificate. But I'm struggling to get there, even tho I searched I can't figure it out. Could anyone with knowledge on the subject help me ? Thanks for the support !

My http server is coded in python it's working on localhost. It loads my html file.

that depends where you are hosting it and if u have a domain or not
for me personally, if i host my page on vercel, i can directly add another cname under the domain and it creates a subdomain

Thanks for your response ! I want to host it on my computer and run it 24/7. What is vercel ? How do you use it ? Will it make it https ?

oh
for self hosting, you would wanna use nginx. i did that for self hosting

and yes web servers are going to be ran on http
vercel will make it secure and u will have https
