Not really, you can get a helm enchant that slows down air loss

but you can cheese underweater breathing by placing a door

then stand in the doorway

ran to bathroom, yes. you can add redstone dust to a potion to make it 8min

underwater breathing should be netherwart then pufferfish plus redstone for 8

making some gains

Also I started a random single player game and spawned next to this tower with pillagers kept killing them and dying on repeat. I assume you can't stop them spawning

you have to remove any spawn locations in the area around the tower.

mobs can't spawn on things like glass, buttons, redstone, slabs, waterblocks, etc.

not a spawner like dungeons have for skellies and zombies. the spot the tower sits on acts as a spawner. you can demolish the whole tower and they'll still spawn in that area

fyi, since some of you are new to the game and some others are behind on added features, bamboo can be turned into bundles now that can be crafted into planks and used like any other wood. this means super easy farmable supple for anything that takes wood to craft. sticks, chests, boats, etc.

a bastion is made of blackstone bricks and guilded blackstone and is full of treasure, piglins, and the dangerous piglin brutes. it's the only place to find the template to upgrade to netherite armor too

if we get one template we can make copies of it with diamonds but we have to find one first

the area i'm standing you can park a horse and there's a tunnel down below the water with the chests for slime balls. if they're empty just afk a couple minecraft nights at the top of the farm and you'll have plenty.

hermits also use data packs that allow them a couple extra features like access to stuff before release and bonus shulker drops, anti-enderman griefing etc because it is a content server
