Use a Chess App like Droidfish. Pause when the author comments. Compare with Stockfish evaluation
I have the physical books, I also try to play the moves out on the board and try to se sub-variations in my mind to improve visualization, but its hard to grasp what I should try to learn from them, specially Kasparov's book
I didn't try Visualization. Very difficult. What you must learn is understand chess position. Equal, white slightly better, white is superior? Chess Informants teach this using Chess Informants symbols. At first, it's difficult without verbal language. After analyzing a dozen games, the Brain gets tuned.
