#How do you study Chess Books?

I have 2 main books Im trying to study right now. "My Great Predecessors" by G. Kaaparov and "Techniques of Positional Play" by V. Bronzik & A. Terekhin, how do you study the books? Do you just read them, go through the moves on the board, stop in each move, analyse it, or do you write down what you learn, etc...?

Use a Chess App like Droidfish. Pause when the author comments. Compare with Stockfish evaluation

I didn't try Visualization. Very difficult. What you must learn is understand chess position. Equal, white slightly better, white is superior? Chess Informants teach this using Chess Informants symbols. At first, it's difficult without verbal language. After analyzing a dozen games, the Brain gets tuned.
