No bro i just haven't seen any lines where that c pawn needed defense so early, i knew i kind of wanted to play g3 and reroute my knight to e3 without touching the e pawn but then i realized that playing e3 would cook that plan

So i tried playing Qd3 to keep that plan working

Yeah Nf3 c4 really fucks your move orders as an c4 e5 player, i personally just play Nf3 Nf6 c4 e6 and suck it up basically playing two reps

Idk, i think it might make sense to try Nf3 d5 c4 d4 if you're playing c4 e5 so you stay away from transpositions
