specifically section 2, figure out the amount of time you can commit
50% Tactics training 15% Opening study 30% Playing and analysing 5% endgames
no i just spend too much time on openings lmao
Bro play a little more lol
Quality over quantity
i know i shouldnt but i mine is like 25% tactics 50% games 5% analysing 10% opening and 10% endgames
Yeah, but you're devoating very little to actually playing the game and that's probably not ideal
I like this one
"I don't study"-320 elo chess god
I play typically one 30 minute game a day
and I spend the rest of the time doing tactics puzzles, studying openings and endgames
i usually play a lot or like 1 game its pretty inconsistent
5 % analysing is insane
The recommended routine I give is this:
Proper Game Analysis (30-40 %)
Tactical Training (20-30 %)
Endgame Training (20-30 %)
Other (10-30 %): Youtube, Books, Chessable
However, it's only specific videos, the ones where you often pause to figure out the solution yourself, or where you create notes, I also don't count playing as training, only the analysis after.
To improve, you need to strain ur brain.
0% playing is insane
?
playing is important, what else would u analyse
but I personally, wouldn't consider it a part of training, u don't get better from that
oh yeah 5% analysing is silly
spend like as much time analysing as you do on playing
i usually only check for mistakes unless it is an otb game but i should analyze more yeah
@full summit blud No.
Just get better loser
BAHAHAHAV😭 just be strong if you're weak
If you really want to get better you will
The only one to blame is yourself
Ban loca
Slothz glazing fr fr
shut ur glazig ass up
i missed you man
Fr!!!
2 hours of tactics everyday
2 classical games
stick to one repertoire and review the line your opponent played in your post game analysis
Done
yeah, but increment is preferable
at least 15+10 rapid
what he said
When you say proper game analysis, would stuff like playing “guess the move” in an annotated GM game collection count? Or just analysis of your own games?
it means analysing your own games, and a lot of work, without the engine, the engine is there only to blundred check once ur done with your analysis, you should be uncovering external ideas on your own.
So probably you’re looking at more time spent analyzing a game without the engine than actually playing?
If so I need to give that a good cause I usually only spend like 15 minutes max on a game analyzing after
yes
Mine is pretty ez just get 100 elo per month and when I will come to 2000 I will start blitz and bullet😀
